Absolutely fantastic video and trip you had. We certainly live in a country of extremes from the flooding early this year to this barren country side. It’s good to see the Flinders so green though. The abandoned coal mine is HUGE, it’s a shame it isn’t active. There was not another soul or vehicle to be seen, they are real ghost towns. I’d love to go up there one day. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Great viewing! I just learnt that the ocean you filmed is the Indian Ocean, I didn’t know it came that far around the southern coast. I thought it was the Great Southern Ocean. I’ll have to have a good look on Maps, we all learn something new every day! 😂

I bought one here in Canada. 500watt das, and omg I love this bike. Last time I rode a bike was and old mountain bike I would use to get to work and back 5 years ago. We have a bridge here in Winnipeg called the Arlington Bridge, and it has steep right angles to get up and I could not ride it with a regular bike. Always had to get off and walk it up half way. I am 56 years old, and trying to get back in some shape, and the first time I took the milano up that steep bridge, I flew up at 16 kilometers per hour without breaking a sweat! You do and can very easy get a decent workout with an e-bike, because you tend to travel farther and explore. I would definately recommend this as a good entry e-bike!
K&M Adventurers

Absolutely awesome bike! Wow 500w! I know what the 250w can do… I have to find one to have a try. There is definitely a wow factor when you ride them cause you remember when you last rode your old bike and then hop on one of these! They sure do give you a workout and a 50km ride is nothing anymore, I honestly thought a 5km ride on my old bike was bad haha now I want to do those 50km plus rides. Well done and thank you for watching 😁

Yes very interesting! Going by news articles and their website SA Water was not aware of this bridge. Last week The local historical society told SA Water that someone seen the top part of the bridge exposed during a drought in the 1960’s. The bridge has caught a lot of people by surprise

That fox(s) are certainly on the prowl! I hope no sheep have been taken. When I first saw the cat I thought you were going to share that it the cat’s purring was your unexplained spooky noise in Ep 1! Still a mystery 😮
K&M Adventurers
K&M Adventurers 4 aylar önce
They / it definitely are! My neighbour doesn't lamb his sheep they are just lawnmowers and he is aware of the foxes but he has said there has been no issues to date. My other neighbour 3km away owns a chicken farm, it might be an issue for him, I'm not sure how far foxes travel in a night? hahaha Oh that would be been great to explain that mystery noise, the new camera I bought has a microphone and I was hoping to capture that noise again but it has not come back..... Maybe next week

@Kaye Nash I know that the caravan park had no insurance as he was on the news talking about it. I would say many would not as they built below the 1956 level, and if they did they would not be able to insure now. Premiums would be so high you could not afford

I have been enjoying your ebike videos around Adelaide and I have nearly caught up with the list. I am at the stage of seriously considering purchasing and am convinced that the NCM is suitable for my needs. I like the Moscow plus but I think the Milano pl;us is more practical for my needs. I am worried that I may have trouble "throwing the leg over" when I get old (I am 79) so I think the Milano is best for me. I understand from your videos both you and particularly your wife are impressed with the Milano and would appreciate your comments that may assist my choice. Thanks again for the videos.

K&M Adventurers
K&M Adventurers 5 aylar önce
Hi thank you very much! I will be getting back to making more on the e bikes. I cannot comment on the Moscow but in comparison with the Aspen it would be a great all round bike. The Milano in my opinion is a Rolls Royce, very smooth, comfortable, you sit upright so it takes the stress away from your wrists. It is honestly built for those long rides. My Aspen is fantastic but no way near as comfortable as my wife’s. As we ride more on paths I will likely sell my Aspen and get the Milano for comfort. The plus will give you plenty of power, you will go up any hill with ease. My wife only sits on power assist 2 or 3 and that’s plenty for her. You would have no issues on the Milano! Just keep in mind the size, I accidentally bought my wife the 29” it’s a little tall for her the 28” would of been perfect. Ohh yes also be careful taking off on a hill as soon as you turn the pedal the motor will kick in and if you’re in setting 3 it will almost buck you off, I recommend setting 1 for taking off on a sharp hill. Hope this helps Cheers Ken

I enjoyed all 44 minutes of your footage, but it makes me sad at the same time feeling for the residents. However are they going to get rid of all the dry mud that’s covering every blade of grass? It still looks a bit eerie with not much movement around. When the video first started I was thinking that Michelle was very quiet, you tricked me, she wasn’t with you! Thank you again for the update. I used to live in FNQ and many cyclones which caused different damage but it was quickly all over. This has been many months, it would be so very hard to bounce back. I’m not sure if I could. 😢 I hope the affected residents keep strong.

😊 thank you for watching it all. Sure is, the camera doesn’t pick up everything in detail but it honestly is a weird look and feeling driving through. I can see a lot will not rebuild. Definitely very little movement around the areas. Haha yes, I had a day off work and Michelle was busy so I went out on my own and that was somewhat strange as well, I needed my sidekick lol. I’ve never seen cyclone damage but it would be quick and clean up wouldn’t take that long either like you said, mud is a horrible thing to clean. Thank you once again for watching 😁

Beautiful bike track. Had it all to yourselves by the looks of it. I'm envious. Council is finally going to build a connecting track up here in Cairns between Kewarra Beach where I live and Clifton beach (next beach up) I have a Milano Venice ebike. Can't wait to take it out for a spin. You seemed to moving on the McLaren Flat track. Any idea what your average speed was? I've only gone up to pedal assist 3 on my bike so far.
K&M Adventurers
K&M Adventurers 6 aylar önce
It sure is and on that day we only seen one other rider, was relaxing not dodging others. That’s great your council is going to do that! I normally sit in power assist 3 or 4 that gives me an average of 18kph. I think on the way back I was on 6 and that will maintain 28kph. My wife with her Milano normally sits in assist 2 or 3 and averages 18 until she hits a hill then she will put it up. But power assist 6 will try and maintain your speed on level ground to around 25kph plus. Hope that helps, thank you for watching 😁

Ahh Mannum, I can almost hear you breathing a sigh of relief. It could have been so much worse but thankfully you were given time to take evasive actions. So good to see everything coming back to life again. Haha! When you were flying towards the bridges at Murray Bridge, I thought “no train this time” but then it appeared around the bend. Well done with your timing. Another great video, thanks for getting out and about to keep us informed.
K&M Adventurers
K&M Adventurers 6 aylar önce
Most definitely, one advantage with the Murray it’s slow moving and allows to observe upper towns and their impacts. As you said it allowed time for Mannum and others to engineer and strengthen their levees around the town. Most of the businesses in the lower end of the Main Street have their electricity back on, hopefully all back to trading for Easter. Haha I couldn’t believe I finely got train footage over the bridge and with the bonus of flood water still below it. I just happened to have my new drone in the air when I seen the train in the distance near the silos. Thank you once again and you’re welcome ☺️

Thank you for a first rate video on the changes since the water has gone down. One shudders to think what the houses look like inside after all that time under the water. Thank you! Sure did, it was good to have that break, not the plane flight though! It's when I edit it looks way too slow and boring, but I do have to remember that I am looking at this footage for the 100th time and everyone else has not seen it. I have changed the settings in my drone to slow down a little. It is great to see some normality back in the towns that where affected, long way to go still and I can't believe how much silt and mud there is, its going to take a long time to clean up! Yes only just came back from Europe were it was 8 degrees most days to 40+ here. But I would not live anywhere else :) Thank you once again for watching and commenting 😁
