The 2023 Corvette Z06 uses a new 5.5-liter DOHC V8 engine coded LT6 and an 8-speed dual clutch DCT transmission.The LT6 engine produces 670 hp at 8400 rpm and 623 Nm of torque at 6300 rpm.It takes 2.6 seconds for the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km. The new design straight crankshaft used in the engine allows the engine to reach high revs. The new LT6 engine using natural ventilation was designed to maximize the Z06's track-oriented performance experience.
When the performance package is selected; To increase downforce, larger splitters in the front bumper and dive plane wings at the corners, a large carbon fiber wing mounted on the body at the rear, additional carbon fiber parts inside and outside the car, FE7 suspension and specific Magnetic Ride Control settings, Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires specially designed for the Z06, 20” at the front, 21” at the rear lighter carbon fiber wheels, 398 mm brake discs at the front and 391 mm at the rear and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes can be purchased.
The standard Z06 has a splitter in the front bumper and a spoiler in the rear.Thanks to the special design of the spoiler, the car travels at 299km/h, increasing the downforce by 165.6kg, providing excellent handling at high speeds and cornering.4 exhaust outlets placed in the middle of the rear bumper and "spider" aluminum wheels with 20" at the front and 21" at the rear highlight the sporty nature of the car.
Inside the car, carbon fiber trim pieces are used to continue the track-oriented design approach. Carbon fiber steering wheel and gear selectors, handmade leather interior trim and sport seats complete the Z06's performance aspect. The 2023 Corvette Z06 will be available in 12 different exterior colors, 7 different interior trims and 3 different seat options.
