I lived on the valley floor of Yosemite facing Half Dome for 10 years. Films like this fail to tell the overall story. The unbelievable census of the endless tourist ruining the fragile landscape. The story of them parking on the meadow, sides of the roads where parking is prohibited, In front of our garage & being towed, then they complain. Tramping off trails where it is prohibitive. Trying to 'pet' the wild animals, having their arm ripped to shred's and blaming the wildlife not the (Their) tourist's stupidity. I once mentioned at a dinner party with a mix of executives from the Concessionaire (At the time Delaware North) and Park Service leaders from Washington DC that the National Park system should close a park at a time, for five years to 'recover'. After that, create a lottery system to gage the amount of tourists a season. The Park System applauded, the Concessionaire just stared at me with the 'deer in the headlight's ' look of revenge. Let me say that the only reason they ( referring to the Concessionaire) are there is to make as much money as possible. Let me note the park service has a hard job and it is only augmented by them dealing with the concessionaire and the necessary 'evil' of the tourists. Their very dedicated Women and Men. Bless them for giving it a college try. We use to have a 'unofficial' lottery of how many tourists would die due to their stupidity, such as 'swimming' in the Yosemite Falls pool , where the upper and lower falls meet, the 'pool' is fenced off with signs saying swimming is prohibited. Attempting to pet, Bears and/or Coyotes, Deer's etc. The list goes on, 'ad infinitum'... Love to the National Park Service and the world they are assigned to manage. 🥰🥰🥰 PS. (Let me note, I am not a Park Service or Federal Government employee.)

Narrative is just as spectacular as the film. What a piece of art ! Specially enjoyed the sleepy mother bear and the way both bobcat and coyote jump up to dig into the ground or snow to catch a mouse, but then are so different in raising their young. Animals are so fascinating. Thanks for showing them off!

*@Free Documentary - Nature* Wow! Can't thank you folks enough for this cinemagraphic wonder. I receive over 30 English-speaking TV channels where I live, but not the most important one of all: PBS' World Channel, the 24/7 documentary channel. What you are doing through TRshow is a priceless public service, especially for those who live in places where we can't receive PBS, or any TV at all. Once again, Thank You. Very Best of Success to you! 💜💜💜

Wolves were hunted till there were no more in this area. There were also grizzly bears. Those are not there anymore either. Yosemite is a bit crowded for my taste. I prefer Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, a couple hours south. Still beautiful, far less people. If you visit Sequoia, then a visit to Death Valley nearby is also a must.

When I was 23, we hiked up Half Dome from the valley floor to the top, up the back of it. We started in the morning, and didn’t realize it would take ALL DAY LONG!! It was summer, and we got to the smooth top just at dusk, where I wanted to do nothing but spend the warm July night there! Plus, I was sure it would be fun, and would contribute to a really great memory of being able to say I’d spent the night on the top of Half Dome!! But no, my boyfriend made us immediately hike back down, where it became pitch black as the night wore on! He said we would freeze at the top of Half Dome if we spent the night there, even though it was July and some guys who were also on the top offered us their blanket. As the night wore on and our flashlight wore out and I became weary of walking and just TIRED, I became more and more frustrated that he had made us walk down just as it had been getting dark, not to mention knowing animals hunt at night!! By dawn, I was angry at him! To this day, over 30 years later, I’m still not convinced that had we stayed and spent the night, we would have froze to death, as he insisted!! It hadn’t even been a cold night!

A SUPERB Nature And Wildlife Documentary, In Fact. Masha Allah! America's National Parks, Japanese Gardens, Africa's Wilderness And Wildlife And Mediterranean Sea Tours Once Used To Be The Most Favourite Parts Of My Tourism Interests And For My Purely Touristic Nature. Beside The Rocky Mountain Wilds And Wilderness Of The Continental North America And Continental Europe. Filled With Rivers, Lakes And Biological Diversity, All Such Areas And Arenas Actually Were A Taste Apart For Me. Though Less Seen And More Enjoyed. Anyway, The Yosemite Nature Documentsry Is As Much A Refreshing And Enjoyable Documentary As Are The Good And Entertaining 'Yellow Stone National Park' And 'Gates Of The Arctic' Nature Documentaries. Thanks So Much To Share. Happy To Watch And Nice To Comment. Jazzak Allah Khair. May God Bless You. Amen! With All The Due Thanks, Regards And The Best Wishes: SNR. (FFP). .... ... .. . . .

I live thirty minutes from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. This has been my home for the past twenty six years. I’ve live in California for thirty two years. This area up by Yosemite is amazingly breathtaking! I never get tired of living here. Driving through the Sierras is gorgeous. I heard from a few locals that when COVID shut everything down more wildlife came into the park. Now reservations are needed to enter Yosemite. I don’t need to ever leave this area for a vacation. I’m content staying right here and going for a drive or hike. It’s a blessing to live here.

Alabama has 4 million residence, and you are taking missing person report filled, with the vast majority of people found. I’m talking about a tourist destinations were the majority are never found, and disappear under very strange circumstances.
