Interesting video! I would like to recommend a very good workshop by Yuriy Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language. This excellent book will give you answers how to correctly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort. This book answers many of the questions that everyone faces when learning a language. Good luck with your important work!

Thanks, Keith for your videos on Speaking tips. I recently took my IELTS exam on 30th January 2022 and I scored band 8.0. For future test takers, I will say just be natural don't force yourself to use uncommon words and complex sentences, just take this test as a normal interview. Make sure you can communicate effectively whatever you want to say. During the conversation if you can use some good synonyms and can make complex sentences it's good, otherwise, just relax.

However, I have a question for Mr. Keith O'Hare - I am a little confused here because many of the videos online suggest that the conversation should be semi-formal for the IELTS speaking test. Is that true? I mean, can I use words like 'wanna' and 'gonna' during the test?
