$2.90 in 1900 is roughly $100 in 2023. Interesting that what was probably the top of the line hand plane in the world at the time was only $100.

The price difference between the Bedrocks and the Baileys was a lot less than I would have thought

8:45 Have you tried an S bend or right angle screwdriver? The ones with a flat on one end, and philips on the other? That might fit back there.

That’s a good idea. Might have to see if I can find one. The challenge is getting enough leverage on a stuck screw with a chewed up slot. Wish me luck!
