Looks yummy. For even more of a citrus pop, mix your zest in with the granulated sugar and let it sit for a few mins. Then stir and add the sugar. It will be the brightest, tangiest citrus you’ve ever tasted!

I had the same problem for years. Keep trying. The best way I found is that I start with a recipe and keep going with that and then little by little I started making it my own. Sometime it took months sometime it took years and now I get compliments on my food all the time. A Crock-Pot is one of the best ways to learn how to cook too. It's easy and it makes the house smell good and the food usually turns out really well and meats and potatoes turn out tender. ❤️ The main thing is to learn how to use seasonings. They have packets of seasonings that make things taste really good if you don't want to use individual seasonings. In the beginning always stay with whatever you are preparing until you learn how long it takes to cook. That was one thing I had to learn because I kept burning stuff and forgetting about it. LMAO!
