I can't tell you how much I love these video's. My husband was a builder/framer/finish carpenter for more than 40 years and every new build was so exciting to me how things came together. He taught our boys the trades and they chose different careers down the road but my husband Blaine always told them the only thing he had to give them was knowledge. Many times they wanted to quit but he wouldn't let them. We lost him to cancer in 2020, and today the boys are so proud he forced his knowledge upon them because as he knew, it has saved them thousands of dollars being able to build their own homes start to finish and anything else they choose to build. Watching you work and seeing your perfection in your work brings back great memories of him. He was highly respected for his quality of work and customers always were very pleased with finished product. He started way back when there were no nail guns, it was all manually nailed together. Then when they became available he got a loan and got set up. As you well know, his job became so much less labor intense and speedy. I know it's very hard work but he, like your crew thoroughly enjoyed it and was till the end strict on quality and building it to last. I just wanted to say thank you for making the video's, I just stumbled across them but I will be a steady viewer. It's almost like watching brings him back to life. He was 84 when he died and still had plans in his head for things to build when he felt better. I'm sure he's building mansions in heaven now. Thanks again for reviving pleasant memories.

We just returned from a vacation in the Smokey Mountains and we watched a crew building a house on a steep slope next to the cabin we were staying in on Ski Mountain road. My wife asked me if I was going to watch them all day. I couldn’t believe how they could build at such heights with sheer drop offs on three sides of the building. I didn’t see any safety ropes either. Kudos to your crew for their expert building skills and professionalism.

found yall a while ago but just found out in this vid that yall work so close to where i used to live. I used to go up and snowboard at Chattahoochee all the time and did most of my electrical job in that same area. Love what yall are doin putting so much care and effort into your trades cause it's hard to find someone that cares up there.

I'm happy to see fibre concrete in a video. the floorslab in my house is also fibre without rebar. in my case it was because it was the best option because getting in the rebar mesh was almost impossible to get in here without cutting it up and tie it back together, could have made my own at the spot but that would have been more expensive

I can really relate to all you are doing ,I'm an electrician, I've wired custom homes in Park City Utah, and lake Arrowhead California, through the dead of winter, do I miss it? ok i really like how you explained the 16 on center studs because i don't care what i build if its a shed or a house i build 16 on center just because of the plywood or sheetrock it just makes it easier on everybody and if you ever have to redo the inside from kids putting holes in the wall because they throw a tempertamptum

Vacationing in BC with my family and ran into Erik at a pub this evening (I'm the landlord guy who joked that I'm happier to meet him than the President)... he kindly shared his time chatting about houses over a beer. That's what I love about TRshow, so many of the personalities are just regular folks making videos. Not the scripted garbage that is most TV now. These guys deserve all of the success that they've worked hard for. My 5 year old son loved the pic 😁
