The video was cut short but he had his wife and children too... he asked soon after about them and the cries of the brother on the phone... he kept asking questions but the brother was just so emotional like you can hear just how terrified he is and how terrified their family were. The absolute relief in his voice, the way he kept repeating how they’re all waiting for him.

@@amateurtries7542 Why do you think I'm angry and not calm? I may be slightly frustrated though because there are many cases like this. For example doctors saving someone's life, and then God is thanked instead of the doctors. But it's funny/interesting that God is always thanked when something good happens (even when it's clearly not God being responsible for said good thing), and yet when something bad happens, God isn't blamed for it, even when the "something bad" is clearly a result of how God supposedly created the world. It's not like I believe in God anyway. It's just strange and also slightly frustrating, but also interesting that religious people often react this way.

I am from Turkey and someone who has lived through earthquakes, all these kinds of support make my eyes wet. Many people were lost. The brother crying over the phone brought up an emotion I don’t often feel about “heartwarming” videos on social media anymore Hearing that and imagining this happening to my own brother nearly brought tears to my eyes- im glad he and his whole family is okay, what a tragedy for so many people. There is a ommitted part where the brother of the guy who was pulled out from under the rubble asks him his name to confirm that he is indeed his brother. What a true hero. He withstood 11 days of hunger and dehydration, not being able to move even an inch. All of our prayers go to him and his family

It's over phone call and the other guy is unstablely crying while the other was thought to be dead. It's awkwardly happy to find out how much people care about you. It was some silent assurance and made him smile. Or His mind is calm trying to process and finalize the shock of the situation and in the conscious form, his brain is trying to help him put some sentences together and the fact that the other is going mental with joy makes this guy have another thing to process. Maybe that's why he's calm. And the fact that most of his bones look like their in casts. My take.

It's actually not that scary to die, and he laid there for 11 days waiting, he probably made his peace with the world. But for his family? There's nothing scarier than losing someone you love. If this man had died, his family's pain would be just starting, and would never leave them.

Roosters actually make almost similar warning sound when they see hawks so those chickens are not really trained. They just naturally react like that, but now they wondered if that was a real warning.

Reminds me of our cat that was gon for almost two weeks, we thought he was dead, but then he came back in one night meowing like crazy, looking very thin, I had the urge to wake everyone up, fortunately this was before we went on vacation...it was surprising.

My grandparents, when they were 19, adopted a 15 y/o runaway on their honeymoon! My grandfather's brother was a sheriff, the girl kept running away from wherever they put her, and he was about to just keep her in jail till she was an adult since nobody wanted her. My grandparents took her in, adopted her, she still ran away over a dozen times, but they never stopped finding her and bringing her back home. They went on to adopt and foster over a dozen more kids and teens, and even though now they're in their late 70's, they still took in 1 more kid who really needed it ❤️

Why is this episode the best one I've seen in a while? Literally every clip is a banger in its own right. That kangaroo fight was so funny and kind of uncanny, the professor submission was pure unhinged at its finest, and I loved hearing the Turkey survivor call his brother.

Every clip except the abused ducks. They’re overweight because they've been massively overfed (typically force-fed with a tube down their throats) so that their digestive system breaks down and their livers expand to ten-times their normal size. This is how you make the delicacy "foie gras" or "fat liver". Among other things, the ducks suffer painful foot problems from being forced to become so overweight.

I was around 10 and we were at a zoo for our field trip. My classmate kept on teasing a monkey with his towel. Eventually the monkey caught it and dunked it in the pond in their enclosure. Everyone in our class (including our teacher) saw it. The next day we submitted an essay about our trip. Day after, our teacher showed us an essay from the class that was right behind us on our trip. It said, "I was amazed to see a monkey doing laundry".
