Thank you Alex and Jay for your videos...I highly recommend to watch the videos here and practice the ielts 4 practice tests in the ielts booklet is sufficient for the actual test. I just followed the above and scored overall 7 with 2 weekend preparations. (ps: as I am a working professional I couldn't practice daily.)

I must say a big thank you for such a marvelous lesson. It's my first time to do the IELTS listening test. I scored 23/30 (10+8+5). It's becomes harder in later part especially section 3. However thanks so much, really appreciate. Also one more thing, I am registered as a member on IELTS online website and through my studies I read that the IELTS reading test consist of 9 questions type. I've got 27 out of 30, all three mistakes came from the first question of each section, so I learned today that you have to be super focused as the answer might come from the very first sentence itself. For reference, what I got wrong was: 11) blank - should be key values 21) blank - should be essay and 26) movement of energy (three words, I now realized) - should be circular orbit - I'll let you guys know my results once my exam is done in two days' time! Wish me luck and best of luck as well for the people about to take the IELTS!

Great job Jay, I only had two weeks to prepare so I did was watch your videos on TRshow and I scored 8 in listening.

Thank you so much, Jay. I have a problem and since I haven't tried the IELTS exam personally it has been always a bit unclear for me how the process of the Listening part goes. For instance, you showed us the questions here before starting the 10-second count-down and we could look at the questionnaire and prepare ourselves but is that possible during the real exam? since they give you a minute to review your answers from the last section before 10 second preparation time for the next section. I can't review the questions in only 10 seconds and I have to borrow time from that 1 minute for "reviewing the last section". Could you elaborate on this in one of your videos since I've searched the whole TRshow and still can't get my head around this issue since many people suggest using the review time for the coming section but apparently you didn't do that here in this video? thanks a lot again.
