This video has been very insightful! One big consideration for me, as I am just starting my investment journey, is how to make the idea of continuing to work in normal employment feel worthwhile. I feel like I had a good handle on LTD Company Structures etc. and knowledge on how to take/make use of that income, but as a higher rate PAYE tax payer, this strategy would actually see huge benefit from the employment income too!

Fantastic video and powerful demonstration. Most powerful for high rate tax payers due to the 40% tax band. However, I think there is a slight error here. If they earn a salary of £60k p.a. then it’s only the top slice taxed at 40% that you’d get the 40% tax relief on. I.e. earnings above £50k p.a. So putting £40k into a pension wouldn’t give you a 40% tax credit on the whole amount, it would be 40% on £10k then 20% on the rest.

Excellent video and really informative. I’d said one of the main and key questions relates to the £250 profit per rental? The deposit needed and rental income charged isn’t provided, it would be interesting to understand your numbers?

Good video Paul. I am doing exactly what you described - SASS set up, 1 pension transfer out of 5 has been completed. When all transfers are complete I will start to build a BTL portfolio and a commercial property portfolio in the pension. I am glad that my plan has been validated by someone with your experience :-)
