just a heads up, if you know the last 2 verses of Surah al baqarah then Allah will count that as you know the whole Quran, and if you say surah ikhlas 10 times then he will also count it as the whole Quran, just to let you know surah ikhlas is very short and easy!

Dear brother no doubt you will be rewarded for memoriazing the holy Quran,immensely if you are studying with meaning only then will you be able to learn and truly harness the power and essence of the holy scriptures, if you are just learning the Quran without understanding it,then I’am sad to say it’s like everywhere most masjids you go to the imaam although he is a so called hafiz leading the prayers neither he knows what he is reciting nor the masses behind him understand what he is saying,😢 we need to get back to basics why was the Muslim world on the pinnacle of civilisation from the prophet saw’s time and after them for centuries and centuries ,the Muslim world was on top of the world,I’ll hit the nail on the head for you 😮because they understood the meaning of the Quran and understood its purpose and first applied it on themselves and then when they had done that they preached to the rest of the masses,may allah swt,make us true believers as our prophet saw ,stated pass on even if it’s only one word that you know,but how can we even do that if we don’t even know our own history and deen

If u want to learn Quran that's great. What u can do is go to a mosque or places where they teach quran and remember one thing that they are teach you Quran with tajweed. If u don't learn Quran with tajweed then your recitation will be wrong so before u start taking Quran class ask them whether they are teaching Quran with tajweed. May Allah help you learning Quran.

You are listening to the final testament from God. The first thing to understand is what does ISLAM mean. ISLAM ( an Arabic) means peace through submission to God (ie obeying God , worshipping Him only in the correct way through , living the life in accordance with his guidance/commands/laws . That way you will find inner peace in this world and in the hereafter). A MUSLIM (another Arabic word) is someone who submits his/her will to God, or follows Islam. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last/final prophet of ISLAM and that all prophets (all 124,000 of them + their true followers) were MUSLIM ( including Jesus) because they obeyed the will of God. Each prophet came for a particular nation and a particular time. Matthew (15:24) Jesus replied, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
