I'm glad that the judges didn't start talking right away. They let the crowd carry on for a few minutes and Loren could soak in the cheers and adoration like she deserved to. Then they gave her the golden buzzer and let her have that moment to feel like she finally made it. Finally she's being seen.

This performance never felt more right for Loren as the world realizes that she's behind the voice to this beautiful song, this proves that there are still under appreciated singers who were not given the break to hit it big! I found out that not only does she sings but she also writes songs, great talent! I love Simon's facial reaction, he's genuinely astounded with Loren. Simon please take her under your wings so she could flourish and become the star she has to be and will be!

I listen to her song almost every week when she performed in Simon's show and competition. Her voice is incredible, her emotions truly reflecting the tune but what makes Lorna unique, is her humility and descency. Perhaps some singers can learn something from her behaviour. Keep it up Lorna.

Her crescendos, range shifts, pitch, crystal clear sustains, control and poise are out of this world. As a retired professional touring musician, I’ve seen the real deal, fakers, and wannabes. This is the real deal! This Is her finest hour! No sob stories, no bullying tales, just over the top talent. My goodness I need to listen to her another thirty times and hope she goes beyond a “one hit” wonder. Is she another Jennie Lind or Celine? We shall see.

To those who say Loren is a "professional", please let me say that this is the absolute perfect got-talent moment. From the superb editing of the BGT staff, to the magnificent Loren Allred herself, if you did not fall, immediately, in love with this heavenly creature, you are like the arts critic in the "Greatest Showman" who was incapable of smiling. but maybe now, like that critic, you are ready to give Loren her due: one of the greatest entertainment performances of all time.

I agree with all you said. My only issue (speaking as an American) is why couldn't she have done this on America's Got Talent? This is just my opinion, but I see each version of "Got Talent" (Britain, America, Philippines, Thailand, whereever) as a chance for that country to showcase the best hidden or unknown talents that COUNTRY has to offer. Loren, being from New York, should not have taken a spot that could have gone to a deserving Brit. She just as easily could have performed on AGT and had the same result. Loren is an unbelieveable talent and deserves everything that talent can bring her in life, but not at the risk of taking the same chance from a country she doesn't belong to. Again, this is just my personal opinion. I'm sure most will not agree with me.

Tear dropping, goosebumps moments when you watch and hear the original singer of this song sang right in front of you. Even I've seen this clip many times already. The nuances and emotion in a voice like hers can't possibly translate through video, yet I found myself tearing up just watching. I haven't even seen the movie TBH, so I'm not affected by any pre-conceived idea of what I should feel listening to it. But her diction, enunciation, resonance, clarity, emotion is just so exquisite. I can only imagine how soul touching this would have been to experience live, I would have been a sobbing mess I think! Absolutely incredible! 🥰

This audition never gets old. I hadn’t even heard of the movie “The Greatest Showman”. I will say that the audition version puts the movie version to shame. She’s really elegant and a very humble woman. If you can get Simon to slingshot out of his chair, you’re doing something right. What I really loved is that the standing ovation went on for a while, along with the applause, then Amanda smashed the golden buzzer. The golden buzzer moment is designed for the one doing the audition, but the audience and judges really get the most enjoyment out of it. When there’s no big preamble before hitting it is where it’s at. Just my opinion of course. I do hope Disney grabs her for a movie because she does have that Princess quality.

The "Greatest Showman" premiered in Dec. 2017. The movie is almost 5 years old. It is absolutely shameful that Loren Allred did not receive the publicity for her performance in that movie!

This is so good that I even read the comments and I'm caught up in the comments. This is an astonishing performance and like so many others in this thread I can't get enough of this song. What is going on around here? Why am I drawn to this song like a moth to Flame? Brilliant. You see I never saw the movie. So I've never heard the song Until Now. I feel like I found something so unique and so genius what a great ad at the stage of life. Thank you Lauren for being you! Truly fantastic

Out of all the years I’ve been watching all of these shows this is the most incredible one that is so touching it is totally incredible that I just don’t have the words to say how incredible it is❤😊And sheDefinitely deserve that golden buzzer. Totally incredible!

I still think of all the performances I’ve seen her do of this song, thus it’s by far the best. I’m still sad she didn’t sing it for the finals. It would have made all the difference.

@paklebye loren has a distinct sound to her voice, especially at the end of the high notes 'never', and I would easily recognised her signature squeak. All the the other singers can hit the highest notes but not the way she sings it. If you watch her performance in the voice, you can hear this signature sound too

As far as I'm concerned, this wasn't an audition. It was a one in a lifetime concert. The audience should consider themselves beyond lucky. Loren is the epitome of a goddess, a beauty that only GOD is able 2 mold, n HE didn't hold back, as far as talent, charisma n looks. She's like an exquisite, finen priceless wine. She keeps getting better n better each performance.🙏🥰💙💚💛❤️💜

A lot of incredible vocalists in the past have not received credit for their melodious and sometimes angelic vocals. This is by far one of the best auditions I've watched. Loren Allred, I will remember your name now! ♥️

@Dj jimmy m Google Loren's name, then repeat your post, she is famous already, and has many records out, to be in a contest with amateurs is an unfair playing field, not to mention Loren lied by saying no one knows her face and judges did know who she was.

@jerraye taylor read the comment... properly.. YES she has credits on one of the biggest films in musical history.. yes shes dueted with michale buble.. (many artist have) but SHE points out "its time to put a face to the voice"... even rebecca ferguson ACTRESS as jenny lind SAID... USE HER VOICE...for this very song gives this talent credit.. and THIS IS A TALENT SHOW.. 👍 she IS sharing her talent publicly now and SHE fully deserves too... as do many others.. regardless!!!!
