If you didn’t find it, it’s cold, at this time your arms and legs are cold, sometimes not only the brushes are cold, but also all hands, like a chill walking throughout your body and excitement with it. This is excellent advice. When the pandemic hit I picked up playing my flute again after. 46 year hiatus. I was stuck at home awaiting the vaccine so I played my flute. At first my tone was like that of a person blowing across a soda bottle, airy and unfocused. To get it back I did long tones where I take in air and blow it out slowly across my flute with the help of a metronome set at 60. It requires breath control and breathing from the diaphragm to hold the long notes. The exercise takes about 12 minutes. As a result my tone has improved back to how it was in college, but more importantly I'M SLEEPING MUCH BETTER!!! God bless you, excellent wisdom.
