Does logic have similar capabilities? I’ve gotten pretty into making beats just using GarageBand so I figure logic is logical next step

I like this video a lot. Would it be possible for Johnny to do another, more in depth video on how to make a beat sound fuller and/or how to drop the beat within a song?

His explanations and delivery on how to put it all together was super helpful, I was able to understand all the steps compared to me having to go back and forth online looking up 20 different things on how to make a beat. Thank you! Would love to see more of Johnny!

I have been looking for exactly this information and have scoured around for a video just like this delivered by someone exactly like Johnny for the last 2/3 weeks. I have only found super complicated videos or badly delivered videos unfortunately. This was excellent, it was exactly what i was looking for, perfect explanation of what i wanted to figure out, with excellent delivery. He was very clear and the steps box was helping me keep up too! please please more videos from JohnnyBeats 😁👌🏽 Thanks Johnny!!

1.Buy a MPC standalone .. 2.Buy a Turntable (Technics 1200 mk 2) 3.Buy alotta Records of any Genre 4.Buy a Mixer and some Studio Monitors or Headphones.... There you go for that Original and Authentic way to make Beats...

And then you get sued into the the next century for copyright infringement. I really love sampling. Great music from the 80s - 00s because of sampling. Sadly sampling has become more and more difficult.

Really funny video! Do we need an external sound card? Does make a huge difference?
LANDR11 aylar önce
Hey Soukdamian, you'll only need an external sound card if you plan on recording audio, or using studio monitors. Other than that, you can get started with just a laptop and some headphones!

Quit question big bro. Im trying to learn to to make beats, can you give me some tips like what kind of items you use and also which app did you download on you computer? Thx
Claude MugishaYıl önce
@LANDR thanks a lot man, I’ll continue to watch your videos and hopefully I’ll learn a lot from you
LANDRYıl önce
Hey Claude! That's awesome that you are starting to learn how to make beats. Hopefully you learned a lot with the video. So I personally use Ableton Live 10 as my DAW. I truly believe that all the built-in tools are enough to start with and for you to experiment as well. I do have a few cool plugins in my setup. I've been using a lot of the Roland Cloud vsts and I control it with a AKAI Mini MkII midi controller. Get a few sounds from LANDR Samples and you are pretty much ready to go. If you also want we have a few videos that we share a bunch of cool free plugins that you can download, it's called 5 Free Plugins in 5 Minutes. Starting to make music can feel intimidating in the beginning but don't be afraid to tweak stuff in your DAW, listen, trust your ears and just have fun. Hope this answers your question! - Johnny

I relate alot in his work flow. And using garage band to begin when money is a issue lol and then transition to Ableton. The old Kanye was smooth w the beats.

Sir if we use samples, will we get copyrighted when we publish a song ?

If you're using royalty free samples, you shouldn't face any copyright infringement.
