I've spent the last few years traveling Europe and I want to share with you my favorite places. Enjoy this travel guide featuring Europe's incredible destinations. From the scenery of the Alps, to encanting medieval cities, Europe's beauty and history remains unmated to the rest of the world. I put my heart, soul, and several years of hard work into this video and I can't wait to share it with you.

I lived in Europe for six years just after having spent over 6 years in Asia and let me say this, Ryan: you're absolutely the best non-corporate content maker in this space on TRshow! After having visited over hundreds of cities in Europe, it's easy to praise you for capturing on film so closely what one sees in person and oftentimes even better with your drone footage. Another winning "top places" video! Happy New Year, and happy travels in 2023!

This video was easily one of the best ones I'd ever seen. Your filming skills are unmatched, and make every small place you visited look like a dream. I live in Cinque Terre, Italy and am always looking froward to finding new destinations where to go, but on social media lately I've seen this tendency in representing Europe as only history while Asia, Africa and South America as the countries with the best nature. With this video you've reminded me how many beautiful and different landscapes my continent has, and you've given me a lot of inspiration for future travels. Thank you so much.

That was Epic! A real sum of your European travels - I remember most of these but must have missed Greenland. It must have been monumental to edit all this together and do a smooth delivery of all the narration. You'll never regret having visited so many places and I'm sure making many good memories. No surprise you ended up in the Dolomites, one of your favorite places.

Seeing that you really go out of your way to incorporate the best that Europe has to offer with its natural beauty, I'm surprised you haven't yet made your way to Iceland. Is that in the works and something we can expect in the near future? Anyway, the videos your produce are visually stunning! I've been putting together my own 18 month-ish itinerary for long term travel and i've often found myself revising my plans after seeing some of the amazing places that you've been to. keep up the outstanding work!

Thanks so much Jesse! I did a big section on Iceland in my first Europe 100 video so I decided not to put it in this one but it definitely deserves a spot! I’ll do a iceland video soon! A 18 month trip will be epic! What places are you thinking of visiting?

Hello Ryan, very well made video, i'd just like to add some places. Adršpach-Teplice rocks are absolutely wonderful, its 17 square kilometers area of sandstone rocks in northeastern Bohemia, and is the largest of its kind in central Europe. Krokonoše national park, which is located next to polish border, is also very beatiful, with our highest mountain Sněžka(only 1603 meters tall) located in there. And lets not forget Šumava national park, situated on the Czech-German border, with its rolling hills, glacial lakes and its peat-bogs. Take care Ryan.

Amazing videos, Ryan. This is such a contribution to the world. It's like a magnum opus of your travels and a eulogy to the beauty of the earth and human architecture. And you've helped me make some decisions in regard to places I intend to visit. Do you have directions to reach that view in the Dolomites at the end of the video? You called it Mordor (haha love that).

@Ryan Shirley The disrespect to recognize Israel when it's not an actual country, try going to the real country first which is Palestine, then you can check out the stolen land that has a bad backstory so being desperate to go to a place that stole land from a different country is not too respectful. You didn't even recognize Palestine in your comment. It's worse than Russia invading Ukraine because Ukraine used to be a part of Russia and now they're their own country but Russia is still trying to take it back while Palestine was never part of Israel because Israel never existed until they tried to settle somewhere so they invaded Palestine and took some of their land and hurt the Palestinian people and destroyed Palestinian land while doing that. Imagine if a group of people were bullied by some powerful people and they had nowhere to stay so then they went to a place that exists and is inhabited and stole some of their land violently while killing the people and destroying the buildings. As I said it's worse than Russia invading Ukraine because Ukraine wasn't always independent. I suggest you learn more history.

Wish you could have lingered a bit longer and not rush through it all....but that was a lot to fit into an hour. Was surprised you did not review Hungary? Maybe you already did or plan to? Even thought you did an amazing job to cover some of the great places in Europe, but mostly all were mainstream and very popular. The crazy thing is, that you showed only 20% of what Europe's has to offer. There are a lot more places that are on par or even exceeds in beauty in Europe that you did not cover. There are a lot of places that are not so popular tourist attraction, and are superb. All in all, great filming skills.

Wow, so many great places. I have only been to a few of them, but I want to see so much more for myself. Last summer three friends and I travelled from our home country of The Netherlands to Croatia with a small camper van, and I persuaded them to take the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. It was great, especially because I was driving. At least at the start, halfway through my friends got so scared they forced me to let one of them drive. The van did struggle to get up the mountain tho. Driving through Europe is a great experience. Most pressing point on my bucket list is Italy, biggest gap in my travel history so far (literally, I have been to all the countries around it). I will have to convince my friends to make that our destination for next year.

Swedish Ice Hotel definitely deserves a spot here. A hotel in Northern Lappland, Sweden, which is completely made out of ice + beautiful northern lights!
Vincent Palmqvist
Vincent Palmqvist Aylar önce
The Ice hotel is nice. Very impressive art. But far from the best thing to do in Lapland. For me, Northern Sweden is more about outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, dog sledging or exploring the landscape with snow mobile. However, the guides are not the best. Many of them are from "the continent" (outside Scandinavia) and some of them have only basic knowledge of the area they are guiding in, which is easy to tell.
Mára H
Mára H 3 aylar önce
@mt00n I only went there on the way back from Riksgränsen and visited for about 2 hours. Probably if you stay there and treat it as a hotel and plan trips around it would be different. The ice sculptures were great but overall as a tourist attraction it didn't leave the best impression on me (I'm not saying it's bad but that I would rather see something else next time). But yes, as you are saying, it's up to personal experience and usually people like it - 4,5 stars, so I'm just an exception:D
mt00n
mt00n 3 aylar önce
@Mára H I loved the Ice Hotel, incredibly beautiful, and has several options (like regular sheets if ur vegan or regular hotel rooms as well), many things to do like feed the reindeer, and is close to Sweden's biggest mountain Kebnekaise! It has 8.5/10 on google but I guess it's up to personal experience! (:

I've been there this February but I wouldn't return there for the Ice Hotel, it didn't impress me that much. Rather go to Abisko - either in Winter for Aurora or preferably in June-September for the beautiful nature.

i like that Dresden is in the list too :). I love my Saxony. we have a really rich history here. i live in Leipzig and Goethe came from here or Mendelssohn (which btw composed the world wide known wedding march, the melody knows any child. and hark the heralds angels sing.) and Johann Sebastian Bach and so much more. Furthermore we hold many records here. german and even world records. like the biggest city hall in the world. If you want to see the biggest monument in Europe, you also have to come to Leipzig to the Battle of Nations Monument :). And we have the second most old University in Germany and one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world too! :)

Another great compilation from you :-) Thanks! If I may recommend something: visit Poland again and especially Sudety Mountains - they are near Wroclaw city where I live. Part of Sudety is Karkonosze - the highest mountains chain in Sudety with its tallest peak Śnieżka (Snow-white in translation into English). Take a look at this and maybe you could get convinced to come to take a new footage from Sudety: trshow.info/watch/F08Urunok-Y/video.html I wish you (and your family) merry christmas and fruitful new 2023 year!

the cassis calanques are great but often overcrowded in summer , i pesonally prefer the verdon canyon (upper and lower part but not the moustier lake ), great view , really big , lot of climbing and hiking , a bit less crowd in summer and nice cities to visit next door like moustier sainte marie and if you drive a bit more you can go up to annot and visit the big sandstone formations there is also the high altitudes lakes of allos in the mercantour to visit in late spring . i also like the salle de la verna a lot , it is a really big (200m* 200m room ) touristic cave near saint engrave in the french pyrénées .
