Hello Sir Maddy. I would like to say that this is such an amazing video, and thank you for sharing this. It really helps. Your video made me realize that there are lots of things that I need to learn in terms of applying the English Language in everyday conversations. I'm an upcoming first year college taking Bachelor of Arts in English Language, and by watching your videos is an advance study for me to really know how english words are being processed and formed in a sentence. Continue making videos such as this one coz it really helps. Love you, from the Philippines 🫶♥️🇵🇭

This was very interesting to watch as a native English speaker. We often don't know the terminology because we just know how to speak the language instinctively. I must add that some of the questions had more than one acceptable answer. The options for question 9 in the intermediate section were all acceptable. While one answer was more grammatically correct, all three options would be considered fine in conversation.

This is an amazing video. You make English very easy and fun to learn. English is not my first language but I can't express how happy I was to have gotten a 10/10 in the beginner and intermediate level. The advanced level is a bit challenging especially the filling in the gaps without an option. But, I managed to get an 8/10 which means a lot to me. I'm really happy I came across this video.

@@osakedecatherineifelomo857 English is my first language and I still got some of them wrong lmao Rather, some of the questions had more than one answer that could easily work in conversational English. Most English speakers (in the States specifically) don't always speak with correct grammar regardless of fluency, opting to simplify sentences anyway we can. For example: Intermediate B2 9)He was tired because he... A) had traveled all day B) had been traveling all day C) was traveling all day Even though B is grammatically correct, all three of these would work in a casual conversation because your point still gets across. I have a lot of respect for those who learn English because it is not an easy language to learn. If you ever feel insecure about your English level, just remember you know more languages than I do lol.

I must say that you are very precise on your explanations on how all the answers came about. I got 10 correct answers on both the beginner and the intermediate tests but, I only got 8 points on the advanced level. To be honest though, if I would be asked on how I came up with all the correct answers, I'm afraid I will not be able to explain on how. Although,I finished college, I was by far, just a very average student I only learned the correct usage of verbs and everything, mostly by reading books, magazines and newspapers through time. So, I am terribly glad that I came upon your vlog. It's more like I went back to my English class, which I barely paid attention to when I was in school. Thank you so much for the free lesson! First of all: You are a good teacher, you speak loudly pronouncing clearly each phrase, modulating the voice so well that it always keeps the level of attention high. An observation: do you by any chance have Italian ancestry? You gesture continuously from the beginning to the end of the video, even though the way you move your hands follows the rhythm of your voice and - as Italians know well - is a 'non-verbal language' that complements (and can even replace) speech. My question is somewhat ironic about the polite style of the English, where hand movement is almost absent (whereas for the Irish is a bit pronounced, but with the hands clenched into fists🤣🤣🤣)

I grew up in America during a time when English grammar and parts of speech were taught extensively in grade school. Yes, we learned to speak the language at home, but we learned the "technically correct" way to use it at school. Judging from this video, if you study this man's courses, you're going to learn to speak English just as well, if not better than, a lot of native-born English speakers! The Teacher is superb. By the way, I missed two. I misunderstood one lesson, and the other mistake was made because I could have used another form of the sentence. It may not have been "technically correct" but it would have been acceptable to use.

I'm a native North American English speaker, and I've never heard the phrase "lay the table", we usually say " set the table", This could be a regional thing, I guess. The bigger question is: why am I watching instructional English videos? ;-) keep up the good work! Hello sir maddy. I would like to say that this is such an amazing video, and thak you for sharing this. It really helps. Your video made me realize that there are lots of things that I need to learn in terms of applying the English Language in everyday conversation. I'm an upcoming first year college taking bachelor of Arts in English language, and by watching your videos is an advance study for me to really know how english words are being processed and formed in a sentence. Continue making videos such as this one coz it really helps. Love you

That "strength" word on C2 level got me. Otherwise, it would have been perfect. Not bad for a non-native speaker. Thanks for this. It helped me brush up on my skills.

I like the way yo talk. It's clear and slow enough for beginner to catch the meaning. This is a good model for all English teachers around the world. There's something I would like to comment about the test. For most non-english speaker countries, some of the vocabulary that appear in beginner level may considered too advance.

I have to say that you are an amazing English teacher because your explanations are very clear and they are easy to follow, I am English teacher too and this type of tests are very useful to me to know my English level and it is a guide to improve my English level. I am very happy for my results in this test because I have got 10 correct answers in the beginner level, 9 out of 10 correct answers in the intermediate level and 6 out of 10 correct answers in the advanced level, I know that I need to improve a little bit my English level but it is very satisfying for me to keep on learning expressions and collocations despite the fact that I graduated more than one year ago and I have had my first experience as an English teacher, I would like to help my students to do their best while they enjoy learning English because I think that this is the most important thing because they need to consider English as an entertaining subject and language to communicate with many different people from different countries and background

Thank you for your amazing way of explanation. Frankly, I'm an advanced level C2. My score is 30/30. English is my second language along with my native Arabic one, and I teach biology and chemistry in a secondary school in pure English. However, this doesn't mean that I have no need for keeping up and up.. Thank you again Sir for what I have learned from you in this video..
