The 2023 MLB Playoffs are going to be starting in just a couple of days and with means it's time for predictions. Today I will be talking about a team that has been extremely underrated throughout the regular season and not enough people are talking about heading into the playoffs even though they might be one of top 3 teams in the postseason. I believe that the Phillies have what it takes to make it back into the 2023 World Series after they did in 2022. They will have to make it past the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves however, so that is definitely going to be tough. #MLB #baseball

The Phillies not flying under the radar. Everyone knows how good they are. They talk about all the time on sports channels like MLB network & ESPN. When I think of a team or teams in the playoffs that flying under the radar. I think of teams in the playoffs that no one is really talking. So I would say teams like the Blue Jays, diamond backs & to some extent the twins. Those are teams that are flying under the radar because they are really good & no one is really talking about them.

The Phillies are still flying under the radar imo. They’re like a top 4 team in the league imo and people do not look at them like that, I think the jays are underrated too but their postseason last year makes me think they don’t have it under the bright lights. And the twins won’t be able to hit good pitching. Dbacks bullpen is too much of an issue too imo

@@peskytalk as a orioles fan I see the Phillies I know how good they are. any of these teams could get hot at the right time during the playoffs & bounce someone out. Look at 2003 playoffs nobody thought the Marlins could beat the cubs or Yankees that year. They ended up beating them both. In 1986 nobody thought the Mets would going to beat the Red Sox but they did. Anything can happen in the playoffs nothing is set in stone. I don't think they are flying under the radar. I have seen people talk about how good they are all the time this year. Just because they are ranked number 4 doesn't mean they are flying under the radar & that people are underestimating them. Now if people were saying " the Phillies aren't shit they are going to nothing in the playoffs" then I would agree. But everyone says the Phillies are one of the teams that could win all this year. Nobody is saying that about the Jays, twins or diamond backs. Those are the type of teams that could bit you in the ass when you lest expect it. So to me those are teams that are flying under the radar. In my opinion.

Phillies and Orioles. 1983 rematch. I'm calling it. Both trams going in super hot and the phillies only real weakness is the back end of their rotation, which won't appear in a 3 man playoff rotation.

Pitching and defence. Which team has the best of both? Yup, the BJ’s! They have 82 defensive runs saved. Best in MLB. They’re second in team ERA in MLB. They have the most consistent starters in the sport. A terrifying bullpen. And a black hole in centre field. I love BJ’s!

The fugazi Phillies aren’t underrated. Everyone think that they’ll beat my Braves. Folks are starting to overhype them. They are becoming overhyped because far too many people are “one-waying” Philly in a best case scenario….it’s to the point where the narrative is Philly will outscore foes always, Philly’s pitching will show up always, CBP will intimidate always, etc. There’s also, Philly made a run last year and will do it again. We hardly hear about the below average defense and their own bullpen issues. They are a solid team but it isn’t a given at all with them.
