I know the Asian commentators aren't nearly as verbose as some of the other nation's commentators, but that long period of silence followed by delayed applause felt quite strange after a shot of that caliber.

I’m not sure what’s so clever about O’Sullivan’s shot at 6:46. He’s left an easy red to the left corner pocket of the baulk area for Williams. Ok so Williams would still require 1 or 2 snookers but O’Sullivan has still left him with an easy shot to get back in control and find the snooker(s) he requires.

You simply CANNOT determine IQ from observing someone's sporting ability, especially in a single, limited endeavor. It requires a sheaf of puzzles covering multiple aspects of predominantly mental organisation of series in literacy, numeracy, spatial analysis of diagrams and logic puzzles. Being brilliant at snooker is NOT a sufficient test of multiple aptitudes that make up IQ. Snooker measures spatial analysis and hand-eye co-ordination; i.e. one mental, one neuro-physical, amazing though it may be. At the end of the day the one thing that IQ is most closely associated with and a predictor of is academic ability.

i prefer being hardworking then being clever
