Scary car fire during family track cruise session.

While I was on a car track cruise session at Autofest 2022 the car in front had a mechanical failure causing the drive shaft to puncture the fuel tank.
Fire erupted. Everyone got out safely!
My car somehow was unharmed by the fire even though it got real close.

*WHY THE HELL WERE THERE KIDS INSIDE A RACE CAR?!?!?!?* Luckily, they managed to drag them out of the fire in time, but guess what would've happened if the fire caught them instead!!! This is precisely why no one should bring children aboard a race car/tuned car. Because you never like what happens if it takes fire or crashes at high speeds.

It was a show car not a race car. Track cruise at open road speeds and a freak mechanical malfunction happened. Very lucky all we’re ok and it wasn’t on the road with traffic coming the other way.

Yeah, my shock turned into anger as soon as I saw it. Man, I forgot what to add! Regardless, the idiot who nearly had his OWN kids toasted in that fire should be REALLY ashamed of himself because what he did is folly! And I sincerely hope that something like this doesn't happen anymore. Otherwise, forget about "pride"! He must get more than a massive scolding for endangering his kids. Not even a blink of responsibility, that's all.

It was a causal track cruise session so a freak incident like that was not expected. It could have happened on the road and been much worse. Thankfully everyone got out ok.
