The most WTF moments for me involved the miss rule. You can tell I have not watched snooker for many years because many clips (not just in this video) focus on players missing and having to retake the shot. I remember that did happen when I watched snooker but it was rare. Here, you can see frustration on the faces of players who have landed in a near impossible situation and cannot get out. Sure, they could knock the ball around the table and hope that it hits what it needs to hit, but how is that in any way entertaining? Instead, players end up being penalized 12-20 points until they get lucky. Also, since it seems to me that the referee gets to judge whether a shot is a miss, it is clearly open to bias. I bet this is probably something some people have argued about for years, but if your top players are protesting it then clearly something is wrong.

It's not an impossible situation. It's the basis of the game. Your oponent has made sure there is no way you can play without awarding a foul. That is called "a snooker" and in the game of snooker, you should expect it from professional snooker players.
