What a class on teaching! Always smiling, perfect face expressions, perfect body language, right talking speed, perfect modulation, remarkable precise text support and synchronization, perfect length, marvelous content, perfect development from simplest to the more complicated, quite perfect editing. Giving the audience confidence. What a work! A wonder exposition... you deserve a Nobel prize in education!... and last but not least, what a beautiful teacher. Loved it.

@@earthgirl7874 Really a piece of art! I deduct that you are very well educated (Ivy league?), pretty bright (perhaps an IQ of about 145, as Shakira's) , high autoesteem. It is amazing how you combine every detail to maximize impacting your audience. Your acting abilities are awesome. Besides all, you have an innate wonderful and lovely accent, kind of british, absolutely and astoundingly marvelous. One can easily see that you love what you are doing and that you are making your best effort to shine and be effective. I just felt sad not having the opportunity to get to know someone as you some 50 years ago as I, myself, gave lessons at some engineering universities, language lessons to german native speakers, lessons to expert bridge players, and training to IBM personnel and more than 3000 IBM customers. I can now see that knowledge is not the most important matter. The way you deliver your wiseness is, at least, as important. My mother was a philologist. She spoke around 12-14 languages (including neetherlands, hebrew, althochdeutsch, mittelhochdeutsch (old german), switzerditch (swiss dialect), langue d'oc, langue d'oil (old french dialects), native austrian) and was teacher of english, spanish, latin and greek at a brittish school in Chile). As in the Sorbone in Paris she had no way to survive and had to learn italian in just one week to teach it and earn some money . German was her native language. More to it, she had to teach Chemistry, Maths, Physics, in english of course, as the brittish teachers were called back to England to fight the nazis in the WW II. For that to happen she needed to learn by night what she had to teach the next morning. This is the first time in my life I find a woman with such a talent (or even better) as her. She surely knew more languages than you, but you are gifted as none. Chapeux! and thanks for your comment.

Teacher, this lesson is crazy! I loved it so much. If only I can injest all what you said literally and digest them in my stomach and distribute them to my brain, that would be awesome! You really, really mastered your topic. Your deliverance, the voice, the facial expression, etc. blended together and persuaded me to listen more and more. BTW. Teacher can I ask you a favor? Can you make video liked this how to become a good Emcee? What are the things to be considered to be a good emcee, etc. Thanks in advance, I can't wait. God bless you.

Hi Emma, those are fantastic tips indeed :-). I gradually build up a habit of reading articles every week. I signed up for a parenting website few years ago and they've kept sending me their weekly newsletter. To be honest, I enjoyed reading them very much as they give me more knowledge about child-rearing. Sometimes, they help me calm down and understand my kids much better. I also broaden my vocabulary through reading them, which is so useful. One other habit that I'm keen on is watching your videos :-). It is really enjoyable! Thank you very much!

Thinking is very important part of spoken English because whatever you can think, you can speak. So make a habit to think in English. Everything takes time. In the beginning it will be difficult but when you will practice and practice it will be part of your memory and once it becomes your habit them English will come naturally from your mouth.

thank you for the information emma! I'd like to point out my favorites from these (I like to be a bit formal, but non-condescending) - interrupting, excuse me (or some form of that), idea is you stopping people in their tracks - open up to interruptions, feel free to stop me anywhere - confirmation asking, excuse me (and some form of that) - agreeing, simply I agree or I don't disagree or I don't have any complaints - disagreeing, I see what you mean, I don't feel the same way, that's not how I feel or I felt differently. lastly, agree to disagree - controversial, not everybody feel the same way - good bye, thank you so much. it's great speaking with you

Thanks Emma, that was fantastic!! Frankly i have always been fascinated to watch varying accent even with the native speakers. I have spoken to many who i thought were literally descendants of the lordship and down to my scottish friends who dramatically improved my listening skills!! Jokes apart its a treat to watch someone who has a way with words!! Keep posting!!

Many people fail to share their conversations when they meet so sharing conversations and asking questions will gain more from each other because we are all teachers and pupils when we share conversations.
