James Blunt's performance brought a huge silence in the entire studio. Noone was cheering, clapping or talking during his performance. Everyone was too speachless to do anything. That silence was too loud. He sent shivers down everyone's spine with his unique voice bursting with emotions. Extraordinary singer ❤

@AD0321t was during corona. The cardboard cutouts were for keeping the right distance without the need to wear a mask. Also during lockdown when the football stadiums were empty fans could buy a cardboard cutout of themselves so the stadium looks like a full stadium

Hate to break it to you, but that was Jimmy Fallon doing his (quite famous) impression of Michael McDonald. It wasn't his natural voice. His 'natural' voice is actually better. He, Jack Black, and Paul Rudd do send ups of musical groups together quite often. They can all legitimately sing. 😊

He had that kind of silence that you could hear a pin dropped in the audience... And you can see IT on the judges faces When James was singing.... And for that brief moment that studio was magically transformed in a Concert hall....

Mainstream television has a stigma towards facial hair. It's similar to the way braids and dreadlocks are frowned upon. Some people naturally grow facial hair quickly and shaving often damages the skin. Afro-caribbean hair as well shouldn't have to be straightened or tamed but it's seen as unprofessional which is stupid for so many reasons.

I have to agree with you in some aspects except I think Jimmy’s voice is a tiny bit higher pitched than Michael’s is but not much. Michael’s voice has this crispy element to it that Jimmy’s voice slightly lacks. But Jimmy still has a really good singing voice. I was pleasantly surprised when he started singing. I loved it.

@TX Livin' It's also possible that she's less willing than others to compromise artistically. I've heard of artists who are apparently complete jerks that haven't been dropped by their record companies, so unless she's REAAAALLLY difficult I would reckon it's more the former than the latter.

@alicia monshouwer You clearly have no experience in this field. Jess Glynne's performance is not suitable for Antares AutoTune. Sure there is some light EQ but no pitch control and temporal stretching was used. It's quite obvious to hear those artifcats.

@JetPackGuy i don’t listen to radio ever I kinda live under a rock with limited social media exposure it’s just better for my overall sanity.
