Big congrats to Olson for playing all 162 games this season. He and Soto are the only two to play in all games this year.
@iamaperson5006 2 aylar önce
So close to reaching win 105 but still it was one incredible regular season. A total of 104 wins and many many memorable moments and broken records. So so proud of what this team has done it has been incredible. Shoutout to everyone for these contributions. Now it is time for october playoff baseball. The squad needs to get into that mentality, into that zone, into that mindset with intensity. Great idea to get these open house simulated games to get even more prepared. So excited for the postseason and hoping for an incredible journey. #ForTheA

Man thank god for Ozuna, contrary to all the Ozuna haters that hounded him last year and the beginning of this year, he ended up carrying the braves these last few games with the home runs since everybody kinda choked and didn't hit any. We tied the record thanks to Ozuna, haters need to remember.
@doc8013 2 aylar önce
There were like 5 balls that hit the tip top of the wall these last couple games. No choking, just a little bad luck. But yeah, thank God for Ozuna man, I wanted that record big time. And for it to be his 40th and 100th is just icing on top.
@charlesmorrell3362 2 aylar önce
THANK YOU, Marcell Ozuna!!!!! Thank you for proving everyone in baseball wrong because when you weren't playing so well earlier in the year, ALMOST everyone in "Braves Country" wanted you gone and never to be heard from again (which is so sad). Some fans even mentioned your past issues to go along with the slump you were in, but I'm glad that you didn't listen to the noise and kept hitting home runs (40) and driving in RBIs (100). Thank You to Brian Snitker for believing in him as well. First Class Manager. I hope the Braves will give you another contract to stay with the team. You have EARNED your right to stay in Atlanta and I'm glad that I bought your jersey in Spring Training and will continue to wear it. GO BRAVES!!!!!
@daisheyaku 2 aylar önce
One of my favorite parts of this season was watching Ozuna turn it around to become one of the best hitter for the Braves. Glad Snit didn't give up on him.
@zachansen8293 2 aylar önce
mlb never really said why they juiced the balls in 2019 and tried to pretend it was out of their control... but somehow they also managed to get it under control. This is the real record. Another way to look at it is home runs beyond second place for the season. This is the most impressive home run hitting team ever
@Gloecknessmonster 2 aylar önce
Eh i feel like the balls are still juiced, but not as bad as they used to be
@Jackie_Fhan 2 aylar önce

No doubt man, those Gnats weren’t close to being the worst team as everyone predicted. Y’all going to be a pain in my Braves neck going forward. I hope Soto returns to DC though in free agency.

I can't believe we missed setting the Homerun record for a team in one season by less than 10 feet . Well , at least we tied it .
@mightbegenius 2 aylar önce
Power outage except for Ozuna. He should be totally redeemed in the ATL
@Jackie_Fhan 2 aylar önce
this wasn't the only close call, olson hit a homerun that wasn't called one just a few days ago as well. he hit the plastic that is attached to the wall, its supposde to be called a homer if it hits the plastic above the wall. It wasn't called a homerun even though it was slightly above the wall.
@Jackie_Fhan 2 aylar önce
@@mightbegenius for sure, they needed 4 homers in 3 games and failed, they simpy failed
@lawrencescott1048 2 aylar önce
You need to also remember that Stikner took both Olson and Acuna out of the line-up early in games 1 and 3 against the Nats, that could've made the difference right there.
@leskobrandon3497 2 aylar önce
@@lawrencescott1048 My thoughts exactly, and when they pulled Acuna in the 2nd inning of their final game I wondered if they were selling theirselves short of the possibility that he might contribute another home run

Folks said I was crazy when I said they’d get over 70. It’s always nice to win the last game. For the first time in years they actually look like they have a future. Win or lose, this team was exciting and fought till the last strike every day.

Los Bravos bringing me back to a regular watcher after a solid 25 year hiatus...... Even in the rare occasion they lose these days, you can't say it wasn't one helluva game... This team is a well oiled machine, they're dialed in for the trophy this October, if not (always possible for ATL teams to choke) you know it's going to be a fight for the ages....

While we are reflecting on the Braves "power failure" outside of Ozuna you need to remember that Stikner took both Acuna and Olson out of the line-up very early in both games 1 and 3 of the Nats series and didn't play Harris in game one at all, that could've made the difference in the HR record right there.

I was super disappointed they didn't break the homerun record. They needed 4 in 3 games to break it and couldn't manage it. They had a lot of chances to break it honestly and I had been keeping up with it for months. Also, that no call homerun by olson that his the plastic about 6 games ago is another reason they didn't break the record. It was a homerun as far as I could tell by the rules. Still very disappointed though, they easily had it and collapsed on home runs, washington and flordia both hit way more home runs against the braves in the last few series.
@johnblze667 2 aylar önce

@@johnblze667 I think they had one semi recent game with more than 3 or 4 homers. It has been a long while other than that since they hit 4 or more it seems like. They just kept getting 1, maybe 2 in games for a long while now. Just had a feeling it would end like this for a couple of weeks.

Yes, the Braves can score runs, but they can't stop other teams from piling up the runs on them. As we all know, good pitching beats hitting in the postseason, and unless Strider is on the mound, that will continue to be a problem for the Braves.
