I worked at the Namibian international airport and almost all the foreigners would say “we enjoyed “ Namibia is safe , the roads are good and so are the people!! Personally I have lived in Asia (India) that is when I realized my country is blessed because we have open places of thousands km without people and infrastructures.

Indeed my country is beautiful 🤩 - even I had a culture shock when I first arrived 31 years ago after several decades in exile, having left as a young child. I fell in love with it then and I’m still in love with it now. I lived in Windhoek for 5 years and I also lived and worked in an establishment about 65 Kms from Sousessvlei where you will find these majestic sand dunes. This video and the wonderful narration is a very accurate description of the real beauty of this beautiful country and the people.

Excellent video. I had a fantastic time visiting Namibia in 2015. It is a great place to visit. Our guide Victor and our driver James were from Kenya and they were experts on traveling in this beautiful desert country. Namibia and South Africa are two countries I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Africa for the first time. Namibia has scenery, wild animals and excellent skydiving facilities. Loved my stay in Namibia. I would go back in a second if I had the chance.

The land scapes of this place are so similar to Western Australia it's incredible. Only difference is the wild life.

Years ago we took a flight from Johannesburg to Rio. It was a daytime flight,perfectly clear skies from start to finish. As we approached the Atlantic,flying over Namibia,we could get a beautiful view of the desert actually meeting the ocean. I got a great photo...one of my most treasured photos.

Swakopmund & Tsumeb & Otjo were prettiest towns... Etosha was magnificent... travelled with Swiss-German friend from Windhoek (flew from Cape Town)... From after Okahanjo we stopped on road to Ondangwa as needed pit stop... on arriving in Namutoni we were informed how dangerous our stop had been as a lot of "terrorist" infiltration had been detected along this road that very week... needless to say Halali & Okakujo camps were mind-blowing...Okakujo was the best - waterhole right nearby - fully lit up - a male lion roared so loudly the earth reverberated under ones feet... he no sooner did this a few times & lo & behold 3 cubs with a lioness came down to the water...he duly went & sat under a huge tree... it was as if he'd cleared the area for their safety... Peeps it was a wonderful experience... Africa at her best... have never been so relaxed... Water was not drinkable but the beer was like mother's milk! Great excuse to imbibe fairly ongoing & constantly...😄 wonderful... This is how we shld all be living...

I watch the seal rescue OCN and realized by watching how beautiful it is. I love these men and 2 women for there persistence of rescuing the seals from the plastic that's dumped into the ocean. I first came to Namibia from South Africa in the week of the independence day celebrations, participated in all activities as a musician in collaboration with Swapo, Ovambo, Herero, and Nama people. What a good experience traveling almost all over including the wonderful Namib desert. I stayed in Katutura township with the Herero, Nama, Ovambo, and some people originally from South Africa, Namibia, Angola etc. A year or so after my enjoyment South Africa was preparing for its own independence and Nelson Mandela as president, I had to return. People of South Africa and Congo should learn from the Namibian experience on how to deal with their vast natural resources and how to empower their country and their own people. Great video, thanks.
