🍰 dough:
3 egg yolks
a pinch of salt
80 g (6 tablespoons / 2.8 OZ) powdered sugar
80 g (1 stick) melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
200 g flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
Place 1/3 of the dough in the fridge
Baking pan 20 cm
🍎 filling:
3 apples, cut into cubes
40 g (2.5 tablespoons / 2.4 ounces) sugar
5 g (0.5 tablespoons) corn starch
Juice of 1 lemon
Heat in the pan to caramelize
🧁 cream:
500 g Greek yogurt
50 g (4 tablespoons / 1.7 OZ) corn starch
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix well
3 protein
a pinch of salt
130 g (0.7 cups / 4.5 ounces) sugar
Beat until the tips are hard, then lift under the yogurt
Assemble the cake as in the video
1/3 of the dough frozen
Bake for 40 minutes in a well -heated oven at 180 C / 350 F or until the top of the cake opens evenly

An ideal yoghurt cake is a wet and delicate cake that gets a light acidity by adding yogurt in the dough. It has a loose and relaxed consistency with a fine crumb and a golden brown crust on the outside. I made this delicious treat but I took the skin off my apples and added cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice I thought about adding cardamom and ginger but I thought it might be too much for the kids. The guest LOVED IT! Thanks for sharing the wonderful recipe with us.

Just done your cherry version, very nice cake, just needs more flavour in the meringue part. some people commented that using Bundt tin works okay. Well, I will correct these bakers - it doesn’t work as well because a Bundt pan is smaller at the base, larger at the top, whereas for this cake you need almost equal circumference across the height. So please do stick to the container that shown in the video. Also adding less corn starch to the cherries - also a very wrong advice, the jelly cherries are meant to hold up the rest of the cake, so this mixture must be stiff enough.
