As someone that works in the sandwich industry I feel morally obligated to inform you that a Reuben is made with corned beef, not pastrami. If it’s made with pastrami, it’s technically called a Rachel

Reuben sandwiches I have had are typically made with corned beef rather than pastrami. They are very similar though so I suppose it could be interchanged without it making a huge difference.

A Rueben is the only sandwich I'm willing to pay for. Sandwiches are super easy to make, but I don't often have rye bread, pastrami, AND sauerkraut just laying around. And if you get those, you better be prepared to eat or serve multiple Rueben's. But seriously, it's a perfect example of the kind of sandwich your not just to make at home when in the mood, which is what most sandwiches are like.
