Mmmm, I really like kale, do you like kale? They are so delicious that I cook them 3 times a week and eat them every day.A simple recipe with simple ingredients that will appeal to anyone who loves cabbage... Cook with joy! Cook with love!

Hello friends!
Welcome to our channel!
Preparation and ingredients:
Cut the onion.
Add salt, a mixture of Italian herbs, nutmeg, black pepper, paprika and 2 cloves of garlic.
Mix well.
Chop the young onion and dill.
Add 5-6 tablespoons of white yogurt and 2 teaspoons of tomato paste.
Cut the cabbage as shown in the video and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Friends, write, from which country do you see our videos?
Add salt and black pepper.
Put the ground beef on the cabbage.
Spread the sauce over the ground beef.
Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
Cut 3 potatoes.
Mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, 2 cloves of garlic and 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Grate 60 g Parmesan and sprinkle 1/2 of the potatoes on top.
Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes.
Then turn to the other side and bake for another 15 minutes at 200 °C.

Add 2 halves of parmesan cheese.
Mmmmm, what a scent! I like cabbage a lot, and you?
Add to the potatoes and mix.

Did anyone else notice how fresh all the veggies are, especially the cabbage? It was ripe all the way to the core!! Here in the United Sates, the cabbages sold by grocery stores have maybe an inch around that’s edible and the rest is hard/white. There’s mostly farms around where I live and I always look forward to getting ultra fresh and tasty summer fruits and veggies.

@vMifune I can tell who has never traveled the globe. There really is just no comparison with the West (US, Canada, West Europe, Japan, Korea. Etc) and the rest of the world. We get safe, cheap, plentiful food 24/7/365 that others only dream of. Visiting areas in Chad, Ecuador or Vietnam and hearing folks talking about how “oppressive” our system is strikes me as humorous and a little sad.

I’m from Canada and our cabbage is awful…like you said, two or three top leaves are green and then the rest is all white and hard, I hate it and I love cabbage. When I was a kid, the cabbage my mother would buy was always all green and very little white at all…tomatoes used to taste like tomatoes and cucumbers as well…not anymore! :(

The core/stem is indeed edible, but it has a very pungent flavor raw. It can easily be sliced with a sharp knife into pieces for either sautéing or for soups.

You shop the wrong places. 😂 I get tons from gardeners and from local farms too because im obsessed with cabbage soup. And fermenting. But I get good fresh cabbage here at all the grocery stores... Maybe its a regional thing.

From the state of Arizona in the United States: This looked so good when I saw it last night that I made it tonight. I used a food processor, so the meat looked a little less chunky. The meat on top of the cabbage basted the cabbage very nicely. The cabbage was full of flavor. So was the meat, for that matter. In my opinion, the dill in the yogurt sauce is optional. The whole thing was delicious! I only have one oven and no warming tray, so the potatoes probably weren't as crispy as the hotter oven would yield. I raised the heat after the meat and cabbage part of the meal was done to do the final 15 minutes. The two dishes did not make it to the table at the same time, and that was OK. We had a "two course meal". A note for Americans: Germans do yogurt differently than we do. While I was in Germany, I ate a lot of cream yogurt. That's right: CREAM yogurt! We don't even have that in our stores. When I came home after a month in Germany, I was 8# lighter. Yes, you read correctly. I was LIGHTER for having eaten cream yogurt. For this dish, I am using Brown Cow cream top whole milk yogurt. It's probably the closest thing we have to what I found in Germany.

My hubby does the same. He always says thank you when I cook. He will eat it all and if he doesn't like it he will say something like "That was ok, just not my favorite. Maybe take that one out of the rotation". But always kindly. He has learned to cook the last 2 years and is doing very well. Hasn't made a bad meal yet. I always thank him too and tell him how yummy it is. We are fortunate to have kind husbands. Never take that kindness for granted. ❤

I have a suggestion. Chef Vivian Howard (Farmer and the Chef PBS series) wrote a cookbook ("This will make it taste good") during Covid with eight (I think) "additives" that can be made ahead of time and used for months. For example, Little Green Dress (a play on pesto) or Red Weapon (turneric, jalepeno, tomato, etc) or one with all kinds of citrus I allowed to sit for months. These add a different tone and texture to regular dishes.

@Susan Blethrow I just put mine in the oven. I tried to use less onions and herbs than it looked like they used bc Someone said there was too much herbs. I was only going to use 1 lb of ground beef, but I got chopping and added a few things like carrots, celery and dandelion greens and it looked like too much so I used 2 lbs instead. It made 11 burgers. My cabbage was smaller; it was a Chinese cabbage so my slices were smaller. I did the veggies bc I can’t eat potatoes, even tho I love them, they are a nightshade and they hurt me. We’ll see how it turns out! Thx for responding!

@Susan Mei I used one pound. And I only have a single oven so I placed the potatoes on the bottom rack and cooked both at 350 degrees. They were both done about the same time. My husband loved it!!! Oh, and I used grape seed oil instead of vegetable oil.

I live in the USA in the State of NJ and decided to try this recipe. I don't eat beef often, so I substituted for ground turkey, and instead of us white potatoes, I used sweet potatoes. I also forgot to get the parmesan cheese so I had to the grated parmesan cheese. It still came out soooo good! My husband & sister in-law loves it!!

Hello again! Made another of your recipes. We absolutely loved the potatoes and the sause on the burger was scrumptious! However, the time and heat cooked for the patties made them a little dried out. We still gobbled them up and next time I'll adjust those aspects for the perfect tenderness. Another wonderful meal. I too am from oklahoma. I had asked for amounts of ingredients to put in the meat and cook time in english conversion but got no answer. So i did a conversion on google and it sounds very odd. Its hard to believe the potatoes were cooked at a higher heat than the meat. Im going to try it and just eyeball it. Hope no one croaks from my cooking lol

I used ground lamb instead of beef because we raise sheep and rarely have beef. Other than that, I followed your instructions to the letter and it was delicious! We had to leftover so my daughter and I reheated it and at it with a runny fried egg on top for breakfast. Great recipe!!!

Just put in the oven as I type. From the state of Oregon, USA. Fun to make, I am not a very good cook, so excited to see how it turns out! I used Greek yogurt, Hope that is ok, also added a squeeze of lemon juice to the sauce…we shall see! Thank you for your recipes, I need all the help I can get!😉. I find your videos relaxing, easy to follow and non intemdateing. Which is good for me! Tried your cabbage, radish, dill, cucumber, dill and avocado salad. I think I added too much mustard to the salad dressing and ruined it. Going to try again though! I love all the ingredients, even bought some fennel to toss in as well next time. I may just not like avocado dressing and if that is the case, will just do a light venegrette with all the salad ingredients and maybe add some blue cheese crumbles? IDK? The flavors were heavenly. My oven didnt cook as fast, so I definitely will cook about an hour. Or maybe even cook rhe cabbage 15 minutes in advance as my preference is soft over crunchy with cabbage. The sauce on top is delicious and could be used in a variety of ways!👍

@Roxie Starr Nutmeg is wonderful, Roxie ~ in the right dishes (like this, and eggs) and AND a little goes a long way! I have an antique nutmeg grinder with a little sliding compartment on the back that holds up to 2 whole nutmegs. They last virtually forever & tastes fresh and pungent every time you grate a little! 😁

Learned this dish in cooking class over 2 decades ago. Baked cabbage burger's 🙏🏽 We served it with homemade cuccumber Dill sauce on the side. Cooking the sauce takes the nutrients out it. Great! recipe though❤🙏🏽
