30:21 Just the perfect wild-camp spot. Water, a shore, seemingly endless Spruce, a little Birch for fire lighting and a little later those gorgeous Chanterelle mushrooms. An incredible place to be able to access.

Another fabulous video. The sounds and the silence, as well as the views make your videos come to life. The crackle of the fire, the whirr of the fishing reel, the calls of the Geese overhead and the silence of the misty morning all make it seem so close, and not on TRshow at all.👍

Excellent footage as always. I liked the method of sawing and splitting firewood in situ. I thought the irritating flying insects were gone when I saw you relaxing and reading in the hammock, but it seems they were back out at night. I wonder how many fires that Ferro rod has started in 15 years and how many rashers of bacon that frying pan has seen. Was trying to read the handle, but couldn't get past COLD something or other.

It's beautiful. No dugouts with mice, no log buildings. Without spruce twig huts where you can burn yourself to death. And only with a small tent and a hammock you can live comfortably in the forest in the north. That's why I love this channel!💚🌲🌳

Love your youtube channel. :) I whould probably change the lure to a ABU Reflex with red body and copper spoon as it works on more types of common fish in Sweden (also the spinning spoon keeps it from getting snagged as much). I have caught perch, pike and brown trout on that on my own camping aventures.

Yes it was, a very nice trip. From the fishing to the fires back at camp, it just all came together and of course capturing it all on film perfectly as you tend to do on a regular basis made it even better brother. Wild Chanterelles, lucky you...they don't grow in the SW desert. Yeah, what a great trek Swed, weather and wilderness joy, thanks for the work bringing me along, much appreciated. See ya soon.

Missed the drop of this one while traveling. Have to ask, the items in the fry pan on the first meal were sausages, corn, and ? Juustoleipa? Haloumi? And the Kavli Mjukost is damn tasty! Tried the whole line at an ANUGA Foodshow in Germany. Great clip of the birds flying south - nothing says End Of Summer like that. @11:54 great fade. I live in Nor Cal Redwood fog belt, felt like home. You are so fortunate to have such unfettered access to pristine chanterelles/pfifferlinge/C.Cibarius. We get some of those here, as well as the C. Californicus which can get ridiculously large (picked them close to 1kg!). But access is more limited here. Would love to go foraging in Sweden some day. Great job as usual, my friend!

Another great adventure! Plus another 🤯 moment with the clever log end splitting technique. Many times I've been out and fussed with splitting on ground that was unsuitable for more conventional methods due to softness, rocks, mud, unevenness, etc. Yes, there are several techniques to get a useable anvil or suitable surface to safely split against, but none are as simple as the one you've shown. Thank you for another tool in the toolbox!
