My latest What I Eat in a Day video is all Whole30 recipes (and includes some Whole30 meal prep). Many of you are pursuing a Whole30 after a holiday period of too much indulging. Whole30 is a great reset to remind yourself how great your body can feel when you're not bogging it down with too much sugar, alcohol, gluten, dairy and packaged food.

While I'm not typically a fan of rigid diets I am a fan of Whole30 - and that's because it's really not a diet. It just focuses on how your body responds to certain ingredients and then it's up to you if you'd like to keep them in or out of your healthy lifestyle.

Whole30 is another tool in your arsenal to understand your body, improve results and boost your wellness. And that's a wonderful thing! I hope you enjoy the video and the new drone footage!

One question for you please. I am from South Africa and we were always taught to use the whole onion once cut. Is it safe to containerize it and reuse? Thanks.

I've always been told to eat no more than half an avocado at a time due to the fat. Is it okay to eat a whole one as part of a meal? Thanks again for your wonderful videos! 😊🙏

Please dont get the avocado pit out with a knife people, there is another ways to do it save :) allot of people get the 'avocado cut' like that. You can get a nerve damage of severed tendons

I make a very easy chicken and broccoli casserole that mimics the one with canned cream of chicken soup. I put chopped, cooked chicken and steamed broccoli in a casserole dish. I then add chicken broth, melted butter, heavy cream and torn pieces of, or hand grated cheese (whatever kind I happen to have on hand). Stir well to blend. For a topping, some times I use crushed pork rinds with a few French Fried onions. I bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. My family and I think it’s great and it’s a lot better for us than using the canned soup. After watching this video, I’m going to experiment with with some soaked, chopped cashews for a topping, also. Thank you!

Your egg sticks to the pan because it's not hot enough. If you let a small drop of water fall into the pan and it sizzles out, it's not hot enough. Wait for some more and then repeat, the drop of water should form a round ball that runs around in the pan, then it's just right! If instead it breaks into many small balls, then it's too hot. Just pour the oil onto the pan and make sure the surface is well coated. Now put your eggs. They come off just like on a non stick pan. You only need to wash off the grease, there wont be any egg left behind. Works the same for chicken n fish, get the pan real hot, then add oil n then the meat. It will stick to the pan immediately but you can flip it over easily once it gets cooked on that side.

I guess when u live for yourself you’ve got all day and night to pamper yourself up for higher level of everything. I choose having family and five kids, I still make everything from scratch just maybe not everything looking video perfect for the world to see but not any worst ;). Living the real life here like the rest of humans.

@Annelies V What I meant is not everyone got time for picture perfect diets and meals and unrealistic for the majority. Real life like my husband says, is with apron on, hair in a bun mother cooking and kids running around. 😉 Didn’t mean to be so blunt….

In Middle East, they garnish hummus with pomegranate, in all countries. They are healthier than sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil is not healthy.

If you take out the garlic germ (the sprout inside) it will still have a garlic flavor without being pungent :)

Allowing the stainless steel pan to come up to heat before add oil will help food not stick. The pan is ready for oil when one drop of water dances on the surface as a whole drop. If the pan is too hot the droplet will split into many smaller drops

Loving your channel! I'm new! I was googling how to make soft-boiled eggs after my dad told me his recipe. Happy to have learned more methods from your video. I was also intrigued by your story of how you took back your health. During the pandemic, I started working out more, taking daily walks, prioritizing self-care, and most important, prioritize whole foods. I had a similar list of symptoms except for fainting. Never was tested for allergies but had the same suspicions as you. I think I have gluten and dairy sensitivity. I know my body and how much might trigger a reaction. Thanks for your recipes as I'm noticing sugar and processed foods are starting to creep back in my diet too. Happy to have had eggs to bring us together lol. Cheers!
