The thing about nanados that I really like is that they have stuck to their authentic recipies and spices for their food here in India , unlike other fast food chains who alter their authentic recipies for the Indian palatte.

So glad you did the currency vs income, I see so many videos where they covert the local price to us or British currency, but never compare local income to see how prices actually compare. Its all good and well travelling and going on about how cheap the food is. But can the locals afford it? I grew up in South Africa, and Nandos was a go to. Still is for me here in the UK, but man I'd love to try some of the Indian stuff on offer!!

@dan bruh true but even then, upper middle will not buy starbucks nearly enough for it to be successfully run business. so many of its stores are shutting down because of low footfall. places like mcdonalds who have adjusted their prices and adapted their taste to the culture will always fare better.

@Chhavi Sharma Starbucks sales doesnt need to be as much as the local chaiwalas because their profit margin is very high so they just need to give rich people the sense of "quality" and "upmarket". For an example take a brand like maruti and a brand like merc, the reason merc doesnt make cheaper cars is because that will make their customers lose the sense of "quality" even though the quality is same as before or in other words brand value, and now on the contrary if maruti makes a car at the price of a merc, even if its better than the merc people wont buy it because they value the brand image more.

@dan bruh they will have to reduce their prices for that. like mcdonalds and kfc adapted to the upper middle class' affordable range. im upper middle class, and there is no way i will pay that much money on a fast food meal, when i can easily get bigger and fuller meals for much cheaper. there is a reason starbucks stores cannot compete with local chai stalls. no one will pay high prices when there is a cheaper alternative for the same quality, which fit much better in people's spending budgets.

I actually remember seeing a Nando's outlet in Pragathi Nagar or Miyapur area when I was randomly going through the area. I can't exactly remember where the shop was, but yeah when I googled it, it says there isn't a branch in Hyderabad. Strange..

Paneer Vs halloumi I think halloumi just edges out paneer for me, halloumi is great in a sandwich/pita/wrap, the salty, chewy texture really works. Paneer is great in a sauce though, where you wouldn't want halloumi. Great video 🙂

You buy a plain wrap and use it like a place mat and then at the end of your meal you have a bonus wrap with everything you dropped whilst eating the rest of your food. Especially as lots of Nando’s food is messy to eat!

Pasteis de nata are very popular here in the UK. You can get them in every cafe and large supermarket. :P Sometimes they are just called Portugeuse custard tarts
