@@GippyHappy Sure but the reason they did that (instead of acting calmly) is that potentially millions of viewers watching the video would all see their faces. The viewers would know it's them (even though they're acting like everyone else) because the camera is pointed directly at them, continuously following them. By covering it, the 20 or so people around them are able to identify them as the pickpocket, however the millions of people watching the video can't track them down or recognise them.

Fun fact: the owl eye "ball" is actually not a ball, but rather a tube. They cannot rotate their eyes for this reason, so they compensate that by being able to rotate their heads in any direction

@@mariejuana2993 In themselves they are not a big problem, pickpockets are usually only found in big cities like Milan or Rome and they just take your wallet or cell phone, but what worries you more is the fact that some are not really punished. There is a video online of a pickpocket woman which clearly states that she steals, has stolen and will continue to steal, but still nothing has been done to her. The problem is that the law is slow to act and they often go easy on some people, especially if they are pregnant women or with children. With this I don't want to scare you, pickpockets even if they are a problem are not as common as you might think and with a little attention these accidents can be avoided, moreover, if they tried to hurt someone they would be in serious trouble. I think here we would need to also factor the speed of sound in air in order to get a more accurate depth for the cave. From the dropping of the stone (at initial velocity = 0 and constant acceleration of 9,81 m/s^2), it takes approx. 9 seconds for the sound to be heard. But as you said, an impressively deep cave nonetheless.

I remember getting pickpocketted by a group of girls in Madrid and as soon as I realized, I found them conning other people and basically followed them around yelling for everyone not to talk to them. They quickly got so frustrated that they rushed out of the park lol. Then I went to the train station and begged for 2 euro to sadly catch the train home 😂

@@Justin-ts2dw lol after that experience, I use all kinds of subtle money and card hiding tools, like a belt that you can hide cash inside of and discreet Fanny-packs that hide easily under my clothes. Haven’t been pickpocketed since 😂

@@Justin-ts2dw That doesn't always help. I had mine in my front pocket under a bunch of maps and other papers and I still got plucked. Fortunately I was smart enough to just have a cheap "daily" wallet with the day's cash and no ID/credit cards/other stuff of value. Money belts are a good idea. (Oddly, I've never heard of anyone being pick pocketed in the USA. It just doesn't seem to be a thing here.)

Yep. I wouldn't trust a cat that liked being so close to an infant. There is a story from 2019 about a cat suffocating a baby by sleeping on her. That isn't the only time that has happened. People take a lot of risks with their children.

For the cards one, I'm pretty sure he starts with all the cards in his hand, then when he makes the dropping motion he throws them over the back of his hand. He then catches about half with the back of his fingers, and can repeat the same motions to draw them back into facing the camera, then dropping it backwards, etc.

The guy doing the card trick has some amazing finger control and strength. He takes about half of the cards and holds them behind his hand with just his pinkie and ring fingers (or ring and middle finger) as he throws the rest down, and he repeats this again and again.

The magician didn't throw down all the cards in one go. He threw down just a fraction of what he had in his hand each time. He would then (amazingly well) hide the remaining cards behind his hand and pull those out of "thin air". Then he would repeat that until he was out of cards. Sleight of hand very well done.

Every time the magician throws the cards out of his hands, he actually only trhows a couple of them at time, then he puts the rest of them between his pinky and inde(? Third finger). They often don't work alone. I appreciate the work some of these ytubers do, there's a Czech guy who has a similar channel and exposes crooks hovering around ATMS in Prague. But you never know if one might jump you later on. Gotta have guts to do it.

It's definitely hard to see in real time, but that card trick has a simple explanation(the actual trick would require very good slight of hand though). He is only dropping a few cards at once, and then he slips the remaining behind his hand using his index and middle finger. Then when they re-appear he's just flipping them back up and fanning them out.

The card guy is only dropping some of the cards each time, but he's retaining the deck in his hand the whole time, and hiding it on the back of his hand. I think. But you can notice the deck getting progressively smaller.

The card trick at 0:36 is (likely) accomplished using Shin Lims technique of storing cards behind the magicains hand with a cleverly tied fish line that can be drawn from when the hand closes. Notice how he ends every flair by opening his hand and holding his palm toward the camera with his fingers closed, this is done to hide the cards behind his hand, when he closes his fingers it swings cards around from the back. Shin Lim has courses on how to do this trick if anyone is interested.

That graduation ceremony looked so energetic and exciting, my graduation was during Covid, so they had us all sitting 6 feet apart, after we did the hat toss, we had to leave the hats because they didn’t want people touching someone else’s hat for Covid reasons, when we went up to receive the diploma, all our stuff was lined up on a table it couldn’t get handed to us, so we had to look around for our names which was embarrassing and poorly setup, and the speaker broke halfway through the ceremony so it was dead silent, and our parents weren’t allowed at the school to reduce Covid stuff, so all our pictures were taken after the ceremony far enough away from the school, it was quite depressing

Fun fact: My dogs almost got stolen by a really dumb thief. I wasnt there to experience it, but my dad was. He was at the park with all 3 of my dogs and let them run around. Suddenly, some woman said “can you help me get my dogs?” And pointed at them. My dad proceeds to go “maam, those are my dogs.” I wasnt there, but i imagine the look on her face was amazing

The card trick was slick. You can't see it real time, but each time he "throws down the stack of cards" he only throws about 1/3 of them. Just enough to look like he tossed them. The remaining stack goes between his pinky and ring finger and is hidden behind his hand for the next iteration. Cool trick.

Yeah, I thought it might have been video editing, but you're right. If you're watching from a computer with a keyboard, you can pause the video and use the < and > keys to move frame-by-frame. You can see him slide part of the cards between his fingers, away from the camera, and drop the rest each time.

As a magician that's been practicing card magic for 8 years, how he does it by having a mechanism that also contains an invisible thread. When activated the cards can appear into your hand from behind. The camera is positioned perfectly so that people can't see the back, that's where all of the cards are held so when he activates it piles of cards fly onto the back of his hand, and with simple sleight of hand, you can project it to your palm.
