I documented the result of my insane daily habits over the last few years as I transform my body.

Never any drugs or steroids.

Instead, for +700 days, I have been on a very strict and hard diet (7 days per week) to ensure proper in-take of Calories, Carbs, Fat & Protein (at least 190 g/day)....on top of a crazy work-out plan each week. I personally spend 1.5 hours every night and prepare my 5-6 meals for the following day!!!

*As a quick background, I have been around weights on/off since High School, but never stuck with it for more than 6 months so I won't say that I "just started" 2 years ago.

But as you'll see in the video, I fell out of shape BIG TIME and finally made the commitment and built discipline over the long-term. Since High School I have been: Fit, Fat, Skinny, Skinny Fat, etc. I have seen it all! :-)

I am a Father of two young kids (aged 8 & 2), married, full-time (demanding) job in Technology....yet I had a very eager desire to get into the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE.

To do this, since I didn't have much free time during the day, I:
- 5x per week, woke up at 4am and for 3 hours spent 100% of this time on "ME"
- During this "ME time" I would work-out, read, review my goals, meditate and completely re-vamped my diet
- Doing this for a few years required tremendous DISCIPLINE and a clear VISION of what I want.
- Every morning (even still today) I write 3 things I am grateful for in a GRATITUDE JOURNAL and read DAILY AFFIRMATIONS
- I have pictures around my home about what I want my body to look like, so it's a constant reminder

Everyone MUST have a real EAGER DESIRE to change. This will get you through the tough times when you're in a rut, put on some weight again, feel like you're not making progress. Find a way to associate pain with not meeting your goal.

We can do much more than we think. Aim high.

NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!!

You got this man. Don't give up. Have a clear vision of what you want and WHY you want it and remind yourself every day -- it will get you through the tough times, the pain, the sacrifice and the days you "don't feel like it". Happy to offer any advise, if needed. God bless and NEVER GIVE UP!!

I would say real results (muscle mass) started really showing after 6 months. But, to get very lean (abdominals)...this is a constant process and never ending :-)

May I ask what your diet consisted of and were you in a caloric deficit?
Life As John William
Life As John William Aylar önce
Hey Jacob and thanks for reaching out. To your second question, let's be clear, no matter what "diet" you're on....the ONLY WAY to lose weight (burn fat) is to be in a caloric deficit for an extended period of time. Weight Loss is "math" (calories consumed vs. calories burned). That's it. So, yes, I was in a caloric deficit for about "12 weeks" (with the slow goal to lose only about 1 lb. per week, so that at the same time I can also properly build SMM (Skeletal Muscle Mass). Losing weight TOO FAST / TOO DRASTIC is possible....but it's not healthy and also makes it tricky if (at the same time) you also want to build muscle. So, being in a caloric deficit for about 12 weeks was very hard, but it was necessary to lose all the weight I did. Now, while "Weight Loss is math"; NUTRITION (diet) is vital. My diet is very intricate now, and is the result of trial-and-error. Daily, I eat 6 meals per day (first meal is at 4:30am and I workout at 5am). I focus on nutrient-dense foods which are minimally processed and easy to pre-make the day before. A power oatmeal, boiled chicken, rice, vegetable, chicken bone broth, whole eggs, egg whites, Cottage cheese (or Kefir), 1-2 protein shakes to help supplement protein (grass-fed Whey). For supplements, I take: Creatine, men's multi-vitamin, vitamin C, Tumeric and Apple Cider Vinegar. I consume about 180-200g of Protein every day.

Hey Marciano. I am sorry for my delay in response, I am not on TRshow all the time. Anyway, it took about 6-7 months working out at least 5x per week for 90 min. and hitting each muscle 2x a week for the "muscle mass" to start to show. And, that's also married with the strict dieting everyday to ensure I consumed at least 1g of protein per pound of body weight. Regarding my lean abdominal section...this took around 10 months before my 6 pack really started to show and probably 1-year to look that. From 12 months --> 24 months, the muscle mass really started to compound even more as I perfected the form and really improved the types of workouts I was doing.

Answer the folks man, how long did it take? Everyone gets hearts but the ones who want to know how long it took are ghosted. Suspicious

@Big man Rockin I mean he claims natural and if it is a 3 month transformation it means he is lying straight-up with +100 pounds of muscle gain. Edit: +100 pounds of muscle is so out there that most people even with steroids and consuming 5000calories a day won’t get to it.

Doesn't matter how long it took Dallas. He just reached his goal that's what all matters!😌 Good day.

Dallas, take a chill and relax...seriously!! TRshow is not my business...so I am not on this thing all day, every day answering comments. What's with your hostility; that's the only thing suspicious here.
OneRichMofo

The top bodybuilders on earth with copious amounts of steroids don’t put on +100lbs of muscle, if anybody. Especially not in 2 years of starting to work out. So that claim in the title is pure BS especially for a dude in his 40s with declining testosterone production claiming natural. So it is a little suspicious for people who actually know about fitness. Those “I wakeup at 4am and workout for three hours, you just have to believe in yourself!” textbook motivational stuff don’t help either.

Ha ha. I really love posts like this. But, if it makes you sleep better at night to accuse other people of stuff....have at it keyboard warrior. You probably haven't a clue what hard-work and disciple is like anyway. You claim to know "fitness"? Please, don't make me laugh and embarrass yourself. This is coming from someone who posts YT videos for last 6 years about playing video games. Yeah, you seem like a credible "fitness" person for sure. You know "zero" about me, zero about my body, my health, etc. All you throw up is assumptions. I stand by everything I said in this video...because it's the 100% truth. I have nothing to sell, except maybe some free inspiration / motivation to show others what's possible. Clearly you are in need of some. I put in CRAZY hard work over the long-term (and still to this day). I didn't "just find / start working out" a few years ago. Since High School I have dabbled with weights...but never really stuck it out. The only "un-natural" thing I take are: multi-vitamins, BCAA supplements, Whey Protein supplement and Creatine Monohydrate. All else is thru diet (+190 grams of protein per day for 7 days per week). I do wake up at 4am every day because I have a full-time job, a wife and kids. I workout 5-6 days a week for minimum of 90 min. Same routine for (now) +2 years. That's +700 days in case you don't know how to do arithmetic. Keep "gaming" and building up those fore-arm muscles as you play.
