Fantastic! As a lifelong Braves fan, this whole story makes me happy. Michael Harris II is the kind of young man that we all want our sons to be like. He and his family are the kind of quality people I grew up around in the Atlanta suburbs, and I couldn’t be happier for this kid and for the Braves!

I played against this guy in 5/6 travel ball. I remember his team #1 5/6 in GA destroyed us #2 5/6 in GA every head to head that season. So incredible to see how far he went and I’m so glad he’s with us. Go Michael and Go Braves!

As a Phillies fan, we've always looked to Michael Harris as an example of, "Man, we haven't developed a quality outfielder in decades and the Braves seem to find all-stars like MH every other year." I had no idea he and his family were such quality people, and how much he loved his hometown team. As a braves fan who lives in Montgomery I went to a biscuits game vs the braves when he was in AA after the first game I knew we had to pull him up immediately

I played against him in high school our schools Stockbridge and Woodland were rivals with one another in every sport only 10 min apart and he was always a great ball player

I went to a Braves game last summer and this guy went four for four with a dinger. I was only allowed to get one jersey and I was leaning toward Dansby until that home run. Ever since that game he’s been my favorite player.

Saw in person last season, had seats in left center. Vs. Washington. Deep fly ball to deep right center and he sailed all the way to to ball and nabbed it over the wall. I’ve never seen a CF run that fast. TV does not do him Justice. My man can MOVE!!!

Being a Gresham Park Alumni we definitely take pride in it me watching Mike with the Longhorns and Yard dogs at Gresham he was a dawg then and watching him now seeing him and a few others come from where we grew up make it inspires kids to know it’s possible

I don't know Michael personally but I've heard about him for the past several years from one his dad's coworkers. When he comes to my job to pickup or deliver he would always talk about Michael about how great of a player and young man he was. So I got a little emotional watching this. So glad this young man got to live out his dream. He's definitely a fan favorite in my household and all of Braves country.

I got signed to a minor league deal by the flyers when I was junior in high school to go play in Canada with Hamilton bulldogs in junior major SEMI-pro and got injured so I was unable to play in the nhl and I was never drafted only signed to contract so seeing the rise and the draft stories from up and coming athletes always makes me super happy! mike seems like a great dude and even tho I'm from Philly and I'm a Phillies fan I really hope he has a great follow up season. nothin but love

If anybody out there has any way to connect with Michael Harris to have him speak at my school where I teach music and chorus, I would be so honored. My school is Obama Elementary Magnet School of Technology, directly across the street from Gresham Park. Many of my students are athletes and play at Gresham Park. Last year, we had the pleasure of having Eddie Perez, who I’ve met a few times, visit our school thanks to one of our Spanish immersion teachers. I am a 40+ year Braves fan, an A-list, member, born and raised in Athens, Georgia, went to college in Atlanta and have pretty much been here ever since I graduated in 1993. I love my Atlanta teams and my Georgia Bulldogs. I currently live in Ellenwood a couple of minutes from Michael’s old schools. Looking forward to another great season!! Hope to meet Michael soon!
