Texas Roadhouse has a fantastic country fried chicken. Something in the gravy makes it good, some spice. It's juicy, crispy, and delicious. I know because it's a steakhouse alot of people mat not try it, but it is excellent.

I surprisingly worked at both up until a couple weeks ago when I quit Outback altogether. There are perks to both and even though I like the food from both places I still like Outback a tiny bit better. Although I love the fact that Roadhouse is always on a wait and I make a lot more money there.

I would say they should've also tried Longhorn Steakhouse. But they stopped serving the giant fried cheesecake sundae, and I've never forgiven them. They have good chicken parm though.

Outback just has that nostalgic factor for me. My grandpa and uncle used to work there before they moved away and they would always bring back mashed potatoes and wings and they’re still my favorite to this day

as a roadhouse employee i had to learn what food items the outback has so when people come to eat and mix them up i know what theyre talking about. (blossom vs bloomin) (spicy bites v rattlesnakes) etc

First time I had Texas Roadhouse, I was working in Texas, and I thought it was strictly a Texas restaurant because I hadn't heard of it before. Overall I loved it, Outback has always seemed a bit overdone.

I worked at Texas Roadhouse for a few years. Outback was down the street. The competition is real. I lean roadhouse because of that great house or Caesar as a free side choice. Also that bread with honey cinnamon butter. Also the prices are lower. Also! The margaritas are superior

I first stumbled into Texas Roadhouse near Boise, Idaho when I was visiting on business. I was alone and depressed, as I usually am on these business trips, when I went to TR to get a drink. Those steaks blew me away, but more than that was the extremely low prices for fantastic meals. I go back to Idaho often and ALWAYS go to TR and take my people with me when we travel along. Always crowded, but we get seated quickly. Always have a great meal there.

I’m from Las Vegas there’s a Texas Roadhouse and an outback ironically on the same street. I’ve only been to the outback for my dad on Father’s Day and I loved it. The steak was juicy and tender. The Mac and cheese complimented it. Me and my pops wanna try Texas Roadhouse but it’s always packed. We tried going once and we had a 2 hour wait and we weren’t gonna wait 2 hours. I still wanna try Roadhouse. Perhaps I’ll make a reservation one day.

I'm gonna have to go back to Outback. I went to Texas Roadhouse for the first time just last week and I have to say it blew me away. I had the Cactus Blossom and Prime Rib and I thought it was so much more memorable than Outback, which I've been to several times, but not for a while. So I'll have to see for myself if it holds up to TR now...

Love both of these places, Texas Roadhouse will always have the better rolls with the cinnamon honey butter, but Outback does have better steaks even though they are more expensive! But I also found another steakhouse that I didn't know about before, where I had the best steak in my life and it was about the same price a Texas Roadhouse steaks and it called Longhorn Steakhouse! So maybe Outback should be tested against Longhorn Steakhouse next. And Longhorn Steakhouse had amazing deserts too, that blew my mind! I first discovered Longhorn Steakhouse in Colorado Springs CO. Unfortunately I moved back home to Ridgefield WA, and the closest Longhorn Steakhouse is currently in Boise Idaho!

Outback's Steakhouse Mac n Cheese is amazing. Perfect with their shrimp. However, the only downside is all the grease in their food! My god I had a bad time, but my god it was worth it.

I prefer longhorn's method of serving these. It's not exactly a bloomin onion directly but they take onions and batter and fry em in the same kind of thing but they are individual cuts meaning the whole thing is coated and fried (no soggy bits) then they top it with a drizzle of sour cream and serve it with the sauce.

Between Outback and the Texas Roadhouse, I like Outback more. I tried Roadhouse and I didn’t even like the steak that much. Only thing I liked is the bread. Outback was a part of my childhood. Blooming Onion and Kookaburra Wings are the bomb.

Been to Outback about twenty times. Steak getting tougher with little flavor. Friend took me to Texas Roadhouse a few times - weekends. I like the steaks, the chicken tenders better. The service is great. At night, you can pick your steak from glass window fridge.

As someone who works at outback, I have NEVER seen that appetizer platter. And the pretzel bites we do not have, at least not at my location

We love Texas Roadhouse and have never had a decent meal at Outback..so it really just depends on individual tastes

Chili's had a "bloomin onion" as well known as the awesome blossom. I believe. It was better than outbacks bloomin onion in my opinion.

Link reminds me of my cousin with his 10 year old palate. It's not his fault. It's his parents. The only things I don't like are olives, cilantro, and dill. But I still eat them fairly often because taste changes. It's hard to watch link sometimes or even take what he's saying seriously.
